  • Description

Our ski lodges are run by an Australian family and we operate two homely lodges in Niseko, Japan. The lodges are located next to each other in Hirafu the main village of the Niseko and cater to about 30-35 people. Our vision is to deliver homely accommodation with a great lodge style atmosphere to all guests, making them feel like part of the family. Majority of guests in winter (Dec - April) are English speaking and therefore knowledge of Japanese is not essential. Our summer guests are predominately Japanese, who come up to Niseko to enjoy the variety of outdoor activities available.

The lodges are open for most of the year with the exception of October and November. We would love for you to come and help at our lodges while experiencing many of the activities Niseko has to offer.

    25 hours max per week

We have availability for 3 volunteers from July through to September, with a minimum of 2 weeks stay.

Your accommodation will be a shared room and bathroom. We will provide you with all that you need to sleep comfortably; sheets, blanket and pillow included.
Breakfast ingredients are provided daily and you may use the kitchen to prepare other meals.

An international driver’s license would also be great to have so you can get around the area and not solely depend on public transport or walking.

Summer in Niseko is great and if you are a nature lover or enjoy being outdoors exploring, hiking or mountain biking you will really adore the Niseko countryside. We are in a rural part of Hokkaido but have many activities available to locals and visitors including water rafting, trekking, kayaking, river SUP and golf, just to name a few. Also not too far on the outskirts of town we have the sea-side town of Otaru which has some of the freshest seafood you can get as well as some good surfing conditions.

We look forward to hearing from you so please contact me for more information.
