Description
Hello, I'm Ann,
I live at the countryside in Bever, Belgium. This is a little village about 45 minutes drive from Brussels or Gent. It is a green, hilly area with a lot of open space. it is a very quiet area where there is still silence.
I live together with my dog Snoetje, my cat Winnie and two chickens, the Chickies 😉 I’m a big animal lover!
A year ago I adopted Snoetje, a beagle who had been locked up for 2 years at a puppy farm in a barn without daylight. Then she stayed with a foster family for 5 months and now she is with me. From a very scary dog she has blossomed into a happy cuddly bear.
I adopted Winnie, the cat, last year, he is either sleeping or scaring the mice;-) but he is also a real cuddler!
I am a painter and I mainly paint, what did you think, animals 😉 but also contemporary still lifes and abstract atmospheric experiences.
I also like gardening, I have a garden with (wild) herbs, fruit, vegetables, flowers…
In my garden I always find something to prepare a nice meal because I like cooking, especially because I also like to eat 😉,
I mainly cook vegetarian, but occasionally eat organic meat or fish.
And I enjoy walking, chatting with friends, reading, ….
