Description
We are a 3 generation family that needs help with yard and house maintenance from time to time. SHORT NOTICE inquiries rather than long range planning works best for us as the help required and accommodation changes too rapidly to make arrangements months ahead. We live on the ocean in a lovely small town on the Sunshine Coast of B.C., just 2.5 hours from Vancouver Int'l Airport. It is accessed by ferry or seaplane, and would be considered a remote destination. Sechelt (a bigger town) is a 30 minute drive, and the entire coast is ~150 kilometres from one end (Langdale) to the other (Earls Cove). We eat good food, health and wellness is a priority. PROJECT is located at one of two locations: a 1.5 acre ocean front property on Francis Peninsula, near Francis Point park OR a 1.3 acre lake view property in downtown Madeira Park near amenities and highway exit. Accommodations in a clean, private, vintage travel trailer or a private bedroom within a home. Suits single or couples, possibly families in their own motorhome. We can host multiple workawayers at the same time. Smoking outside only. Excellent WiFi. We currently have no pets.

Madeira Park, Pender Harbour is central to hiking trails, fishing adventures, sightseeing, culinary and cultural experiences in our scenic, protected harbour. There are 11 lakes in the area and over 5000 years of First Nation history. We are a family of longtime residents in the community. Our business has been commercial fishing for 4 generations.
Help
Right now we are seeking hardy and capable people to undertake yardwork, structure maintenance and finishing carpentry using hand tools. We always work with you on our projects but there are days or hours during the workday that we are unable to due to life commitments.
We need someone with carpentry skills for window and doorway trim, someone who enjoys painting and/or gardening. There's always things to get done so please inquire and let us know your skill set. Thank you for considering us!

Accommodation
Stay in one of two beautiful, vintage 14’ travel trailers that accommodates 1 person each. Inside has a comfortable twin bed, table and light duty kitchen. Alternatively stay in a private bedroom within our homes, in either a comfortable double, queen or king size bed. All accommodation provided is very clean. Food and meals can be shared or provided for self preparation. This will be determined based on your dietary preference. Both property locations have outside areas to relax and enjoy the views. Smoking outside only. Laundry is available at restricted times onsite. Drop off service for $25 (wash/dry/fold) is available locally anytime. Nice walking and hiking areas nearby.

Large yard but have some obstructions in getting it in the driveway. A rv around 26 feet is best.
