Hi, I’m Maiko. I’m from Hokkaido, Japan.
I used to work at the fish store attending customers in Japan a year ago.
In my hometown , Hokkaido has a lot of fresh fish high quality. So, I enjoyed recommending to customers of local people and foreigners!
But, I quited my job and started travel!
I like my work there. But, the reason why I try to do workaway is that I’d like to travel and have an opportunity to stay with different countries close beautiful nature.
And I’m looking forward to getting new experience I’ve never had. Because, I know that experience broad my world.

I traveled in Europe for three months last summer. I experienced Work away three times. I had a really wonderful and special time with the families in Greece, in Portugal, and in Spain.
I did making rolled sushi, enjoying with “Origami” of Japan with the family.
I helped house work and help at farm. weeding, picking up vegetables and fruits, cleaning a room, helping cooking.

I'm traveling in Latin America now.
In this travel, I cooked rolled sushi and Asian Curry for my local friend.
if you like asian food, I would love to make it for you.

I’m beginner English speaker, and I can't speak Spanish. But I’d like to try Workaway in Latin America, to do something I can do!!!

Hola, soy Maiko. Soy de Hokkaido, Japón.
Hace un año trabajaba en una pescadería atendiendo a clientes en Japón.
En mi ciudad natal, Hokkaido, hay mucho pescado fresco de alta calidad. ¡Así que disfrutaba recomendándolo a clientes locales y extranjeros!

Pero dejé mi trabajo y empecé a viajar.

Me gusta mi trabajo allí. La razón por la que intento hacer Workaway es porque me gustaría viajar y tener la oportunidad de conocer diferentes países cerca de una naturaleza hermosa.

Y estoy deseando vivir nuevas experiencias que nunca antes había tenido. Porque sé que esa experiencia me abrirá las puertas a mi mundo.

El verano pasado viajé por Europa durante tres meses. Experimenté Workaway tres veces. Pasé un tiempo realmente maravilloso y especial con familias en Grecia, Portugal y España.

Preparé sushi enrollado y disfruté del origami japonés con mi familia.
Ayudé en las tareas domésticas y en la granja. Desmalezar, recoger verduras y frutas, limpiar una habitación, ayudar en la cocina.

Ahora estoy viajando por Latinoamérica.
En este viaje, preparé sushi enrollado y curry asiático para un amigo local.
Si te gusta la comida asiática, me encantaría preparártela.

Hablo inglés a nivel principiante y no hablo español. ¡Pero me gustaría probar Workaway en Latinoamérica para hacer algo que pueda hacer!

I like cooking, especially, I can make a rolled sushi, because I'm Japanese! If you like sushi, please tell me!! I would love to make sushi for you!
I lived alone before, so I can house work,as well.
I have three niece and one nephew. Sometimes I play with them at home and outside.

I’m interested in a job of farm and garden.

I like exercising , cycling, sometimes doing yoga, hot springs , stone sauna, picnic ( having breakfast outside) , the beach, and cooking.

I will do my best for Supporting you!

Me gusta cocinar, sobre todo porque soy japonesa. Si te gusta el sushi, ¡cuéntamelo! ¡Me encantaría prepararte sushi!

Vivía sola, así que también puedo hacer tareas domésticas.

Tengo tres sobrinas y un sobrino. A veces juego con ellos en casa y al aire libre.

Me interesa un trabajo en el campo y la jardinería.

Me gusta hacer ejercicio, montar en bicicleta, a veces hacer yoga, las aguas termales, la sauna de piedra, hacer picnics (desayunar al aire libre), la playa y cocinar.
