Hi, I'm Karo, 30, and an adventure-seeking and quite spontaneous solo-traveler. In the last 2 years I've been traveling a lot, had two sabbaticals where I was lucky enough to see a lot of the world. I also worked on a sailboat for a few months and realised how much fun it is to be part of a community for a while and spend more time with the same group. I also enjoy working with people - with my good mood and lots of energy, I love it to infect others, plan and carry out excursions and help out wherever help is needed.

Back home in Berlin, I work mostly in project management and find it easy to plan and coordinate. I do voluntary work, teach German to refugees and otherwise spend a lot of time outdoors and being active, trying out new sports or going out for a good dance!

I love exploring nature on foot or by bike and also organize my trips so that I have as much time as possible to get to know a country in depth.

As I am very lucky to have a lot of time to travel, I want to use this time for personal growth, I am always happy to meet inspiring people, have deep talks... and I really want to give something back.

I love learning new languages and have also realized how exciting I find my own language (German). I have been teaching German as a foreign language to adults on a weekly basis for half a year now. It's challenging, but a lot of fun and I could well imagine teaching children too (with my English that should also work :)).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I work in project management and am good at planning and coordinating. I am good at the computer ;)
But I'm also happy to be hands-on - in the truest sense of the word - and to lend a hand somewhere physically. I am fit and can certainly help with building, gardening etc.

With guests and costumers I'm also easy-going and reliable. I have already worked in guest service as a host and mobile travel agent on a boat and I also have fun at the bar!

I've been teaching German as a foreign language on a voluntary basis for a few months now, so teaching is fun for me and teaching English would definitely work as well!

I'm really not an artist, but I would attribute a certain creativity to myself :).

As I'm a quick learner, I'm sure I can also provide support in other fields :)
