  Description

  Hi! I’m Ade, and I’m creating something truly special in the Chillos Valley, just outside of Quito.
  
  I’m developing a peaceful and inspiring space on a small farm where yoga, holistic therapies, and counseling help people reconnect with themselves and with nature. My vision is to create a vibrant center for cultural exchange—a grounding space where people from around the world can connect, share, and grow together.
  
  Due to work commitments, I often have to leave the city for several days at a time, so I truly rely on my volunteers to help keep everything running smoothly. I’m currently looking for kind, responsible, and creative souls who can support me with various tasks around the house and farm, care for my two beloved pets, and contribute ideas to keep improving the space.
  
  There’s always something to build, fix, or dream up! Projects may include:
  • Helping with daily chores and housekeeping
  • Feeding and caring for the animals (sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, and a couple of cows)
  • Supporting my lovely 70-year-old mother Jasmine, who lives next door and enjoys gardening but needs a little assistance due to a recent arm injury
  • Co-creating a grounding social space for guests and volunteers
  • Improving the chicken corral
  • Designing and planting a new garden
  • Bringing fresh ideas to life to make this place even more magical
  
  In return, I offer you a meaningful and authentic Ecuadorian experience. You’ll be surrounded by natural beauty, close to stunning lagoons, waterfalls, and local artisan markets. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a growing vision built with love, community, and purpose.

  ¡Hola! Soy Ade y estoy creando algo verdaderamente especial en el Valle de los Chillos, a las afueras de Quito.
  
  Estoy desarrollando un espacio tranquilo e inspirador en una pequeña finca, donde el yoga, las terapias holísticas y la consejería ayudan a las personas a reconectarse consigo mismas y con la naturaleza. Mi visión es crear un centro vibrante de intercambio cultural: un espacio de enraizamiento donde personas de todo el mundo puedan conectar, compartir y crecer juntas.
  
  Por compromisos de trabajo, a veces debo salir de la ciudad durante varios días, así que realmente confío en el apoyo de los voluntarios para que todo siga funcionando con armonía. Actualmente, busco personas amables, responsables y creativas que puedan ayudarme con tareas del hogar y la finca, cuidar de mis dos queridas mascotas y aportar ideas para seguir mejorando este espacio.
  
  ¡Siempre hay algo por construir, arreglar o soñar! Algunos de los proyectos en los que puedes participar incluyen:
  • Ayudar con tareas diarias y labores del hogar
  • Alimentar y cuidar a los animales (ovejas, gallinas, perros, gatos y un par de vacas)
  • Apoyar a mi encantadora madre Jasmine, de 70 años, que vive al lado y ama la jardinería, pero que necesita algo de ayuda por una lesión en el brazo
  • Co-crear un espacio social de conexión y bienestar para visitantes y voluntarios
  • Mejorar el corral de las gallinas
  • Diseñar y sembrar un nuevo jardín
  • Aportar ideas frescas para hacer de este lugar algo aún más mágico
  
  A cambio, te ofrezco una experiencia auténtica y significativa en Ecuador. Estarás rodeado de naturaleza, muy cerca de lagunas, cascadas y mercados locales llenos de vida. Pero sobre todo, formarás parte de una visión en crecimiento, construida con amor, comunidad y propósito.

  Aide

  Our current project involves converting an open shed (adjacent to our house) into a yoga and counseling studio. This includes installing flooring and landscaping the surrounding area. We also need assistance with general farm tasks, helping my mom with her garden, and caring for the animals.

  Hébergement

  For accommodations, you'll have a private bedroom with a twin bed inside our home, along with your own private bathroom. Laundry facilities are also readily available. We provide three delicious, home-cooked meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), featuring a blend of authentic Ecuadorian.
  The kitchen is also open for your use anytime. And for those who love the outdoors, we have a perfect camping spot on the farm, complete with a BBQ area and three relaxing hammock zones.

  Adventure awaits just beyond our farm! Within a 30-minute drive, you can soak in the thermal waters at the base of the Ilaló volcano, hike scenic trails to its summit, and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding volcanic landscape. An hour away, explore the Mica Lagoon, a haven for wildlife where you might spot bears, condors, deer, wolves, and foxes. Just beyond Mica lies the Antisana Volcano Reserve and the stunning Las Secas Lagoon. The majestic Cotopaxi Volcano Reserve is also within reach, just a two-hour drive.
  
  For a change of pace, the iconic 'Middle of the World' monument is also two hours away. We're happy to provide guidance and help you plan your excursions.
  
  Getting around is easy: we're conveniently located 35 minutes from Quito Airport and 30 minutes from Quito City Center. Uber, local taxis, and city buses are all readily available.
