We had the pleasure of hosting Sophie for two weeks and found her to be a very willing and able helper around the garden. She was also great company and fitted easily into our home. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone else.

The Japanese connection were great helpers, and both good fun. We planted trees and cooked on fires, drove tractors with trailers and more, -the first time ever was their call Eager to learn clean and tidy a pleasure to have them here, always welcome back anytime Safe travels

Are you looking for the perfect workaway couple? Here they are. I cannot fault these two wonderful people at all. Daniel and Alinne are willing, capable, charming, intelligent, interesting, funny and very comfortable to be around. They took the best care of my animals - loved them, fed them, cuddled them, played with them and kept their living spaces spotlessly clean. Daniel scrubbed the walls of the dog room until it looked newly painted. Alinne made special toys for the cats. They went to any length to help me from crawling in low spaces under houses, climbing high ladders, moving wheelbarrows full of sand in the hot weather - nothing was any trouble. My cats, dogs and I agree that our Sanctuary is a better place for having these two terrific volunteers with us for just over a month. They are so special, two new kittens were named after them. Daniel and Alinne, we all loved having you here and with kitten Daniel and kitten Alinne living their lives in our Sanctuary, you will always be part of our family. We all wish you the very best, happy and safe travels and many successful workaways.

Where to begin with my feedback.. this was such an amazing experience. I was struggling to find a last minute Workaway opportunity that I was passionate about, and was so delighted that Eduin took me in very last minute, with open arms. When I arrived, he made sure I felt comfortable and provided me with everything I needed (even a hotel room before I moved into the apartment). He brought me to meet his family nd to officially welcome me, which was so refreshing. The work itself is extremely rewarding. I thoroughly enjoyed each class, as all of the teachers and students are so different from one another. I even was invited to play volleyball with the students a few times. The two weeks I spent at Polo Superior were spectacular and you are sure to make an impact if you take on this opportunity. Thank you to Eduin, his family, and all of the people I met at the school.

I had an amazing time – I can't recommend it enough! I kept extending my stay, eventually spending nearly 12 weeks there, which speaks for itself! Giel and Karin have created a warm and welcoming environment where you can easily feel like part of the family. I loved spending time with their adorable daughter, Selah, and going for walks or cuddling Maka and Sjakie. The place is truly magical. Nestled in the beautiful mountains of central Portugal and surrounded by nature, not far away from stunning waterfalls where you can cool off on hot summer days. There was always a great group of volunteers, and spending our free time together made the experience even better. The work was enjoyable and very fair. They were flexible with shifts and always tried to make it possible for the whole team to do activities together. I usually helped out in the mornings by preparing breakfast for guests, cleaning the pool and ensuring the communal areas were tidy.You can learn a lot about hospitality and teamwork here.I even became a bit of a pizza expert! Honestly, this is probably one of the best Workaways out there – you get so much in return for just a few hours of work. Thank you so much, Giel and Karin, for an unforgettable summer! I’m already looking forward to coming back ❤️

It was our very first Workaway experience, and Jessie made it absolutely wonderful. She is such a kind and warm person, always taking great care of us. She kept telling us to “feel at home,” and honestly, we truly did! Staying with her felt just like home. Her cooking was always delicious, and we already miss her meals so much! We did both indoor and outdoor tasks, around 15 hours per week, and everything was well-organized and enjoyable. Once a week, she even took us to downtown Nelson, and she recommended lots of fun things to try , like riding the big ferry and exploring local hiking trails. We were never bored! We got to experience real Canadian home life and explore beautiful Nelson, which made our stay even more special. The three weeks we spent with Jessie became one of our best memories in Canada. Thank you so much, Jessie. We miss you a lot!

For now I can describe Sarah and her place is the one of best host and the best place any workawayers can wish for! First of all we were impressed how beautiful and tranquil the house and garden are. When we arrived Sarah greeted us with fresh prepared lunch and our room was cosy and cleaned. We took care of the house and the sweetest dog Winston while she was away for business trips. There are also 2 chicken, some fish and beautiful garden to look after. But it's more pleasure then a job. We spent almost a month in Sarah's place. The neighbours next doy are quiet and lovely young couple with a toddler which never created any noise and I hope they can say same about us🙂 as we tried to be quiet and don't disturb them too. İt's hard to describe the house and work in general because it is just beautiful and easy. The house in general probably the most beautiful we've ever stayed in. And the lists of tasks which Sarah gave to us to complete while she was away for work is light garden maintainess and general cleaning. We also had free bikes which we used regularly to go to the beach and places around. The public transport in unbelievably cheap and super convenient. For us it was a big surprise because after 2 years in Canada we forgot how easy and simple life can be if you just have a chance to ride a bus or metro to nearest district or town. First we thought to rent a car but with such a perfect public transportation you don't need one to go around any place you like. Overall it was our best experience not just in Australia but the best one since 2022... We would be more than happy to visit and work in Sarah's place for next year again. Thanks a lot again for this experience and we wish all the best to Winston and hope he will stay well and healthy for many more year! Cheers Olga and Murat

Ed was certainly the strongest and handiest Workawayer we’ve ever had! He’s incredibly skilled with heavy machinery, so we rented an excavator and he tackled a fun earth-moving project, preparing a whole new porch area for us. It was a big job, and Ed did it every day with a smile on his face. The weather was amazing during his time here, we enjoyed big summer feasts each night, went to some local house parties, and kayaked on the ocean at night under the brightest phosphorescence I've ever seen. Ed was fun and easy to have around, lots of laughs all the time – we’re sure we’ll see him again. With his big smile and open heart, Ed is simply the best.

Staying with Micha, Elisabeth and the kids at the farm was such a fun and enjoyable time and I could not have asked for a better first workaway experience. I stayed for 2 weeks in October and wish I set aside more time to stay for longer. It was a very unique and exciting experience working with the longhorns, the work in general was diverse but never tiring, and I also got the chance to learn a lot of new things, like how to drive a tractor and quad and about moving the cattle in the pastures. A few of my favourite moments of this wonderful stay included visiting the cheese market in Maria Taferl and going on a hikes to Dürnstein castle and around the surroundings of the village. Drawing/painting, playing board games, cooking churros and walking the dogs with the kids was always great fun so there was never a boring day. Having lunch together with the family and trying lots of different delicious Austrian dishes was always enjoyable. Overall I felt very welcome in this friendly atmosphere and would 100% recommend staying with Micha, Elisabeth and the kids to anyone looking to spend a pleasant time in a lively and cosy place. Hopefully I will see you all again soon! :)

I'm delighted to write this and recommend Ilyass, an exceptional workawayer who spent ten days with us while on his motorbike adventure. He was a joy to host and always eager to help! Ilyass was instrumental in helping us with various projects, including clearing a ditch, tending to the olive grove, and even adding a personal touch to our decorations. His strong work ethic and can-do attitude made a real difference, and spending time together was great! His positive attitude towards life is infectious! As a seasoned traveler, Ilyass brings a unique perspective and sense of adventure to everything he does. He's a great team player, and his friendly and approachable nature made him a pleasure to have around. I'd be more than happy to recommend Ilyass to any host looking for a reliable, hardworking, and amiable workawayer. We would welcome him back anytime!

Monica is a really friendly, kind and discreet girl. She is a curious person, and eager to discover the beauties of the place, to know the culture of the place, and the cuisine! Unfortunately, the weather was not the best during her stay and despite the short time spent together it was nice to meet her! Even our son was happy to play with her and teach her a few words of Italian in his own way! Even our friends and our family were able to have a pleasant chat! With all our hearts we wish you many beautiful things!

Billy was an excellent companion and friend to our animals and the people at the dog sanctuary. He did an awesome job adapting to challenging environments and was willing to work with us on any changes or discrepancies. He’s a very helpful and cool guy, willing to do what it takes to support the team and is generally just helpful and kind to everyone he meets. Though not super experienced with hard skills, he’s willing to learn and take on new tasks and objectives. Thanks so much for your time with us Billy and see you soon brother.

I stayed for 3 months and throughout my time the workload was reasonable, the food abundant, and there were plenty of good times to be had. Peter and I went to several fun events together in Putney and Bellows Falls during my stay :) You are expected to work hard and help out, and if you are happy to do that then you'll do great here! The work was 5 hours a day Monday - Friday. The accommodations had everything I needed and some charm to them. Peter was a gracious, generous host and always made sure I was good. Some of the work I did was hauling wood, cleaning & cooking, organizing, sanding wood floors, leaf blowing & hauling leaves, and gardening :)
