  Hi, we’re Anja (German/Spanish), Alberto (Italian) and our 5-year-old Groodle, Pipo. We love meeting people from all walks of life, exchanging stories, and sharing experiences in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
  
  Our home is in Terrigal (Central Coast) – a quiet, leafy area just a 15–20 min walk to the beach and village. Public transport is limited and we live on a steep hill, so having your own transport is ideal, but we can pick you up from Gosford train station if needed.
  
  You’ll have either a queen bedroom with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe or a king/twin room with private bathroom. Both are comfortable and well-equipped.
  
  We enjoy creative projects, home improvement and gardening, so hands-on or creative skills are welcome!
  We often have a few friendly dogs visiting during the week, so you’ll need to be a dog lover and happy to share common spaces with some furry friends (no dogs in your room).

  I (Anja) am a blend of German/Spanish background but have lived in Australia for approx. 15 years (and two years in Lugano, Switzerland). I speak German, English, Spanish and Italian and I am more than happy to practice with you :-)
  
  I love to dance salsa/bachata and I am taking several classes weekly. I am more than happy to take you to dance events if you are interested!
  
  I'm Alberto, originally from Italy, and I've been living in Australia for 17 years. I work in cybersecurity and spend most of the week in Sydney for work. I'm also caring for my 17-year-old son.

  Aide

  Our ideal workawayers are respectful, mature adults who are independent and able to manage things on their own. We’re often away in Sydney for work, so it’s important that you’re comfortable being on your own during those times.
  
  We are specifically looking for help running the house, and this encompasses everything from gardening, cleaning, DIY tasks, cooking meals and assisting with walking and taking care of our dog.
  
  General maintenance could be moving the lane, remove weeds and leaves, lay new mulch, plant flowers, painting jobs, organize the workshop, tidying up etc.
  
  Cleaning help would be general household task but also cleaning windows, cleaning the terrace etc.
  
  We would like someone who would enjoy talking our dog for a walk or to the beach once a day for an hour.
  
  We will offer food for breakfast, lunch and dinner but are not always around to cook so need people who are independent enough to cook for themselves and share the cooking/cleaning up when we are all together.
  
  In exchange we expect 25hrs of work during the week and are flexible with helping days.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own private bedroom with a private bathroom. There is also an office space available, along with unlimited wifi. Meals are provided, though cooking is shared, and at times, you may need to prepare your own meals.

  Autres infos...

  In Terrigal you can go on beach walks or hikes in nearby state forests and national parks. A good place to surf, dive or sunbath. Terrigal village has everything from restaurants to pubs, small supermarket and nice cafe's, doctors, pharmacy etc
  Erina Fair is a big shopping centre with cinema and ice rink! About 5-10min drive from where we live.
