I loved the time spend with Tuul and her family! She is a really lovely person, always making sure that you are ok, always giving more than the best and having made my stay awesome! Tuul answered all my questions about Mongolia, organised a tour to Mini-Gobi for me and shared a lot of time with me! I stayed in her Ger which is (far) away form Ulaanbaatar (about 2 hours drive by public service) and had an awesome time! I loved experiencing a little bit of nomadic lifestyle, having the full support of Tuul and also enjoying the nature around. My work was really not a lot, I just gave her some german-lessons. Thank you Tuul for everything!

We spent 3 weeks here and absolutely fell in love with the project! Our time volunteering flew by so quickly beacuse we were having a great time - with plenty of activities to partake in and lots and lots to learn about Buddhism, we were eager to try out and see everything. We found ourselved occupied on most days, but loved the fact that there was no pressure from anyone when it came down to attending the various classes, meals, chantings or anything else. You could take it in your own pace, and we really appreciated that. The tasks seem like they differ from month to month, depending on what is happening during that time. We arrived in a quiet time of the year it seemed, so we didn't have many hours worth of work, but we helped with serving or preparing food, weeding and cleaning. Compared to all the generosity and kindness that we received from the monks and venerables though, we didn't do nearly as enough to repay them. Everyone was incredibly sweet, caring, honest and inspiring. Nothing but good things to say honestly. No need to wonder if you should come here, since everyone can learn something from spending a bit of time at the monastery. We will definitely come back again in the future!

Best workaway ever!!! Being a party boat host and staying at the hostel were simply the best times ever. Hosting parties on the boat meant orchestrating unforgettable moments of pure joy and connection. The hostel evenings were like living in a community of global friends, where every day brought new adventures and camaraderie. Together, these experiences formed an unbeatable combination of excitement and friendship, making those times truly unforgettable.

I stayed one week with Elisa and Claudio and had a wonderful time ! Both are such positive souls, it’s incredible. Their place is absolutely beautiful and it’s so inspiring how they live a self-sufficient and peaceful life. The meals were probably my favourite part: Elisa and Claudio almost only cook with the food that they grow in their garden and it tastes amazing! I was there with another lovely volunteer and we worked 4 hours in the morning, so we were free after lunch and spend our afternoons mostly playing card games in a cafe in the little town. The work was not really hard, it consisted of planting vegetables, arranging the olive tree branches and piling wood. Their cat Nini sometimes spend the night in my bed and I loved it.

My reviews is a bit tardy, but notheless very sincere. My stay for two weeks with Greg and Manon in April was delightful. Work as advertised, was working in construction with tasks such as cleaning, laying tiles, painting and so forth. I learned quite a lot. Work started as 1 pm almost everyday, which gave you ample time to do other things. Neufchelles is a lovely tiny village, with a channel running nearby with plenty of beavers and a trail all along. It's also quite close to Paris. There were 3 other workayers with Greg and Manon and also a workayer staying at a different house, all of whom were very agreable. We did of lot of things together such as cooking, playing football with Nilou(got pretty intense), playing board games, exploring Paris and watching Shrek.i would love to welcome them to Sweden. Greg and Manon are very suitable to be hosts, and made us feel at home in no time. I look forward to seeing pictures of their baby.

We can only say the best about Gabrielle. She is a very very friendly person and we were super happy with all her help and also her pleasant company. She is funny and also physically a strong woman who isn't afraid of any task given to her. She stayed longer with us than planned and we had the feeling she didn't ever want to leave us :) We hope very much we can welcome her again someday and wish her all the best for the rest of her travels. You're always welcome to stay with us. All the best from everybody

Our experience with Agnès and Simon was nothing but amazing! It was our first workaway experience for both and from the moment that we arrived they made us feel at home. They have the sweetest children and were always making sure that we had everything we needed. The work was very entertaining as well and they made sure that we had everything needed to do it succesfully. It really was an enriching experience for everyone as we could learn about the country, its traditions and its food (they even prepared for us an amazing typical Swiss Fondue!). We are really hoping life will bring us together one more time so we can share all of our experiences with them. If you're thinking of considering them for your workaway experience we could not recommend them high enough! Until next time friends, our kindest regards for you! xx

Mi experiencia en casa de Jordi fue muy rica, por el ambiente que ofrece, la simpatía de los momentos compartidos con él y sus amigos. Gracias a él relancé mi práctica de yoga y meditación, encontré lo esencial, cómo reconectarme conmigo misma. Las tareas son las que piden en el anuncio, jardinería, un poco de ayuda variada y si sabes cocinar es bueno preparar la comida. Dormí en su caravana muy cómoda, pude ducharme en su casa, dar paseos por la casa con su bola de pelo Luna, que es un encanto!! gracias por todo y especialmente al Universo por ponerte en mi camino en el inicio de este año sabático un tanto caótico. Espero poder volver a saludar muy pronto!

Thank you for the stay at your farm! I spend about 3 weeks on the Farm in Somna and felt like a part of the family from the very first days. Lene made me a matcha latte almost every morning and this was the perfect way to start the day. After the work I loved playing with the kids and when I left the farm it was such a hard good-bye. It was also really nice of Lene's son Sander to show me all the amazing spots and the nature around. All in all I had a great time that I will never forget!

I stayed with the family for 5 months (feels more like 2). Time flies when you're having fun. Stefi, Giacomo, Luna and Mattia are a fun, generous, kind, respectful and easy-going family where you never feel pressured or unwelcomed. From day one, I felt super included and at ease. They are interested in cultural diversity and languages, so you can learn a lot about Italian culture/language and have a space to teach others about your own. They speak English very well and you can even hear some French, Spanish or Chinese around the house daily. Regarding responsibilities, the kids are extremely smart and independent, so they always know where to go and what to do in their routine. The whole family is interested in different sports (especially tennis), so sporting activities are a big part of the routine for kids. Taking care of them never feels like a job or responsibility. It is more just like spending time with wonderful people! To add, the daily schedule includes a good amount of free time, so as a student, I had more than enough time to study, travel, and meet friends. Weekend time (always free) is the best for going to Milan and meeting new people or travelling around Italy (or Europe). Giacomo and Stefi have a lot of great suggestions for travelling! I am forever grateful for this opportunity. The family is great and I highly recommend it to anyone who is as open-minded, smart, funny and kind as they are.

Lucy joined our group in the Swiss mountains and she had a very meaningful contribution. Not only the way she shared her massage skills with the group in workshops, but also simply as a person, with her personality, her experiences, her stories. We all opened our hearts for her and she opened our minds :) Thank you Lucy for your being part of our community!

Sarah was a very kind and conscientious soul and a real pleasure to have around the house. She was particularly a great asset in that I hurt my back the day she arrived and she helped me massively as my mobility was so limited. Even just regular things like cooking, cleaning and keeping the house in order, she got stuck in straight away to help me and was very thoughtful and caring. She had a very pleasant and easy going disposition and was just WONDERFUL with the cats, they loved it!! We had great chats together and a lot of laughs, the kind of person you can keep laughing with - long after the joke has ended :D She also looked after the house for us when we went away and it was very reassuring to know the animals and house were so well looked after (fab photos of the cats each day) we came back to happy animals and the house was sparkling. Would definitely recommend Sarah for future workaways :)

Telma is such a. Beautiful person. We really enjoyed having her staying with us. She helped us so much with in the start of our planting season this year. But appart from the great work done around the place, she's been part of the team we all are. Blended in very quickly. We enjoyed having you around, having great chat, spending time around the fire and having good time together. We love having like-minded, easy going people stay with us. If you're a host, go for.it you won't be disappointed she's a hard worker, bringing lots of good energies. She totally embraced the off-grid lifestyle including giving lots of care and love to our animals.

We had such a great time hosting Kinga. She's been a great help around the place and we love to have like-minded, easy going people. She's a great communicator and such a great energy. Always ready for a good chat or a laugh. It's been a pleasure hearing your giggles, spending times around the fire (I wish we had a guitar), and enjoying great meals together. She stayed a week with us and it felt like she'd been here forever. We'd love to have you again Kinga. Wish you all the best. If you're a host, don't hesitate, she's a breath of fresh air.

I had an amazing time staying with Dan, Caroline and Arlo. I stayed for two weeks and it really wasn't long enough. They welcomed me into their home and were incredibly kind and thoughtful. The quality of their hosting was exceptional from my room, to the food, to the activities they encouraged me to take part in. Working for them was so enjoyable. I had a variety of taks to do including wood cutting, stacking it all, cutting grass, cleaned the car, and this was all at my own pace. The five hours flew by and I felt really appreciated. As part of their 'family' they took me rock climbing, swimming, to the beach and waterpark. plus even to a local karaoke night. I can't thank them enough for discovering my passion for rock climbing. Arlo is a delight; one of the most polite children I have ever met. He has so much energy! Finishing work then spending time chilling with him was the perfect combination. Spending time with such a talented, funny and happy person definitely rubbed off on me. I hope to return one day and finish building that ramp. For the best workaday experience go and spend time with this loving family. You will not regret it and I will be back there soon. Thank you once again.

I hope that you can follow your flow and do all that you want! Your contents are so good and is also a good way to help a place like mine but sure that you are a good forniture painter too! If we could give Elektra 6 stars we would! Such an intelligent, wise and interesting young woman with so many skills, a real asset to have around the house. Her communication is excellent and also fluent English. We had great chats spanning from LOTR to Psychology, Wilhelm Wundt got a shout out! The work was done to a high standard and with a great attitude and we enjoyed seeing what delights she was cooking for herself each day. If that wasn't enough, the 3 of us even got papped at the local farmers market and we all made the county newspaper! :D Good times. Elektra will go very far in life and we would highly recommend her for any workaway placement.

I really enjoyed my time here with Tasya and the rest of the team. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, I felt very comfortable. The work wasn't too difficult, I enjoyed working in the greenhouse and sweeping the leaves in the morning - a very peaceful place. Tasya was very receptive to my needs and understanding when I had to move on earlier than we originally planned. The land is so abundant and beautiful with several places around to sit and relax. The meals were delicious! You can walk easily around the area or call a grab bike without issue. Thank you for everything, I miss all of you and hope all has been well :)
