Mon séjour sur l'ecolieu a duré 3 semaines, durant lesquelles j'ai expérimenté un bon retour à la nature en vivant à la roots dans la cabane en binôme avec un autre workawayer, qui est devenu un très bon ami :) J'ai beaucoup aimé l'expérience on a passé de supers moments avec Fiona et les gens de l'association, autant au carnaval que autour de bons plats :) les missions ont été diverses mais pour moi ça a été surtout du rangement et de l'organisation du lieu (rangement du container, tri etc), aider à installer la clôture en barbelés, mais aussi aide à l'organisation d'événement comme organiser des activités et tenir un stand de l'association. Ça a été très enrichissant, j'ai appris beaucoup de choses sur les plantes et espèces locales avec Fiona, seul bémol j'aurais aimé travailler plus dans le jardin planter etc mais ce n'était pas la bonne saison. En tout cas bonne expérience, je recommande si vous voulez faire partie d'un projet qui a du sens et qui oeuvre pour promouvoir une économie locale et un retour aux sources, avec des femmes capables 💪🏽 aussi si vous aimez les animaux Sapote sera contente de vous accueillir! mais attention laissez pas traîner vos serviettes ou vos chaussettes ;) on se reverra certainement à mon retour et d'ici là kimbé rèd pa moli ! 🫶🏽

Zoe was amazing to have help around our house. Assisted in the gardens as well within the house. Always had a smile and we had some great conversations and tips on traveling. We would welcome Zoe back anytime and can recommend her to any host.

Suzie’s place is lovely. It was really nice to have a fully functioning kitchen to cook in, to visit the town on Monday (market day) and to have my own room and the best nights sleep I’ve had in South America. She is open and welcoming and particularly generous when it comes to food and eating which I appreciated. Her hummus and chimmichurri is outstanding. I also really enjoyed getting to know some of the neighbours and felt immersed in Mizque life for the short time I was there. Thanks so much for your hospitality suzie!

best experience ever!! told them i would have stayed a month but ended up extending more than once. the family like environment makes it hard to leave!! I felt at home since day one. I've established the best friendships ever with the other volunteers and they definitely made my experience the best i could have asked for. All the guests were also very nice. The work is really chill and the managers are super helpful and caring. Thank you so much LUM. I hope to see you all again soon. With love, Gaia

It is with immense pleasure and gratitude that I reflect on the exceptional contribution of Louis & Jasmine to our English school. Their unwavering commitment, infectious enthusiasm, and profound dedication have left an indelible mark on both students and myself.

It was a lovely stay with the family. We enjoyed playing with the kids and our work, painting and helping around the house was fun. They went along well with the fact, me being a vegetarian and we had good food! We've been very glad that they could arrange a last minute stay. thank you for having us!

Evie and Joss were an enormous help to us over the two weeks that they stayed with us. The tasks that they took on required them to learn new skills including cutting steel, preparing for welding and installing underfloor insulation. These tasks were not for the faint hearted yet they seemed to relish every learning opportunity. They diligently wore their protective gear and were alert to personal safety. They transformed our veggie garden ready for winter planting. On a personal level Evie and Joss were gracious and engaging to be around, always ready to chip in with meal preparation and general household chores. We loved getting to know them and would welcome them back in a blink. A big 'thank you ' Evie and Joss - travel safely and hopefully we'll get to share a meal with you at the Barbie some time.

We spend a lovely few days at GG house of fun and wished that we could have stayed longer. We already miss staying with her. She is the most warmhearted and welcoming lady who makes you feel at home right away. She has a great farm with two horses, sheep, cats and the cutest dog Django. We were able to feed and take care of the horses and sheep, picked fruit in her garden and helped a little bit in the kitchen. We also helped GG put up an electric fence and took part in renovating her caravan. The most exciting part has been rescuing a little kitten called Bam Bam and observe how GG welcomes a new family member into her home. All in all the work was not only fun and interesting, but also easy managable. We highly recommend visiting GG and her lovely family as you are surrounded by other workawayers and lots of animals.

Elena y Andrea, unos chicos italianos que hablan muy bien español, muy alegres y artistas, tocaban muy bien la guitarra y cocinaban muy rico, pastas, y pizzas, usaron nuestro nuevo horno. Muy sociables y trabajadores. Se quedaron 3 semanas con nosotros y la pasamos muy bien, chicos sin complicaciones y que disfrutan del viaje y la montaña. Esperamos les vaya bien en su viaje. Si quieren comer muy rico, los recomendamos muchisisisimo!

Si tuvieramos que escoger de tantos voluntarios que tuvimos en casa, el o la mas SUPER TRABAJADORA, Simona quedaria en el primer lugar, ella nos ayudo siempre, en el campo, en la cocina, en todo, siempre estaba trabajando y ayudando sin que no se le pidiese. Muy divertida y sociable, la pasamos bien en una fiesta del pueblo. Recomendamos 1000% a Simona.

La experiencia con Cyril & Auralie fue excelente. Los recomiendo 100% en todo sentido!! Se adaptan perfectamente a cualquier tarea y lugar. Muy atentos y alegres. Buenisimas personas. Buen viajee y hasta siempre. Dano y Pisco

Quentin e Inès fueron de gran aporte en nuestro hogar, tienen un gran sentido de la responsabilidad y de autonomía en las actividades, orientados a la meta y los objetivos, siempre con un carisma particular. Son personas capaces de adaptarse a los ambientes y pueden ver el potencial que existe en cada lugar que habitan. Nuestra experiencia con elles fue enriquecedora, ya les extrañamos en casa y esperamos que vean en el un lugar a donde volver, pues serán siempre bien recibides. Son personas amorosas y capaces de hacer un espacio cómodo y comunitario, saben escuchar y al mismo tiempo tienen muchas historias interesantes que compartir. Si les reciben, de seguro pasarán un buen tiempo y tendrán mucho que hablar. Gracias amigos por su estadía, por los colores que le entregaron al hogar en el tiempo que estuvieron y por las risas que compartimos, espero que su viaje sea todo un éxito y que el retorno a Francia sea de lo mejor! Telma is such an amazing person and it was a pleasure to have her with us on the permaculture farm. Elisabeth y Kora son excelentes cocineros y muy trabajadores. Elisabeth nos preparo deliciosas tortas de platanos y Kora una cena muy rica de camarones. Colaboraron mucho trabajando en la casa y en nuestro campo. Ellos son muy tranquilos y educados. Exitos chicos!

Esmeralder is a beautiful gentle, kind soul. She helped greatly to restore a wilderness back to Gardens and tracks! She was wonderful with 4 yr old they are real buddies. Esmeralda fitted into out workaway family like a hand into a glove and what a great hand she was. I felt blessed that she chose my workaway experience and really hope she returns one day. Anyone would appreciate Esmeralda for her help, manners and ease to live with. Go well dear Esmeralder.

Lisa es una chica muy divertida, creativa, trabajadora y excelente cocinera. Nos preparo deliciosas tortas, ella es muy atenta y proactiva, nos ayudo mucho a limpiar nuestros campos de choclo. Ella es muy chevre, irradia mucha alegria y risa. Le deseamos lo mejor.

I am so deeply grateful for the weeks I spent here with Merve and Dan, they are both just amazing and highly knowledgeable people, eager to share and pass the knowledge on aswell as making sure you are having a good time with everything you need to be comfy. I learned heaps on permaculture ways, animal care, community & off grid living (and beekeeping!) during my stay and alongside Merve and Dan also met other great people as there was always travelers passing by. I can not recommend this place enough - consider yourself lucky if you get to spend some time over there! Thank you again for all I got to learn and the shared laughs (and crumble!) over the evening games of cards. Hoping to make it back some day!

Julius helped us for couple of weeks with the yoga class and teaching English for the staff members, the team enjoyed the lessons and he was super dynamic in his classes, thanks for taking some time to get to know the place and the staff, we hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. Ang.

This was definitely a different but interesting experience for me! They are open minded and kind people from Colorado! The whole family is lovely, so welcoming, and kind hearted! Made true friends here :) Jen and Steve thank you for everything, nice to meet you and the whole family! Celeste is nice and cool, great fun to be around! The food is great, different diet than normal if you are not a vegetarian, but celeste (daughter) makes yummy dishes! Loved trying new recipes and playing boardgames with the whole family! Great fun! Felt homey :) I arrived on Saturday night and started working on a Sunday, then left on Friday morning for Wānaka where Steve works! The work is 4h a day, mainly gardening (get bug spray! Sand flies are crazy), also did some cleaning and organizing indoors due to the rain! The accommodation is a campervan, first time staying in one! It has light and usb charger! Bathroom is just a few steps away shower is in their home and wifi is available until 11pm which is great to get better sleep! It is beautiful at night, you can see so many stars and the milky way in a good day! There is a short walk to the river you can swim in, super nice to go and relax! Thank you for having me!
