Wally was a great! He helped me build farm fences and do normal jobs around the house. I would highly reccomend him, because he is hardworking, polite, but a lot of fun to be around and the spirit of adventure is strong. Lots of respect for this young guy, Come back anytime.

We really enjoyed having Sten and Faye to stay. They were both very sociable, easy to get on with, helpful and worked hard in our garden. I can definetly reccomend them.

Loved having Rachel and George! They were easy-going, friendly and keen to help out with what we needed. Rachel - being the amazing Artist and Teacher she is, created some master pieces for our Spa, Guest Rooms and our Games Room. George helped us out with Housekeeping, Painting and Gardening. They were a pleasure to have and we were sad to see them go.

Annette was just a delight to have on our home. I could trust her with anything and she absolutely spoiled our pets. In addition to the house sitting, she organized and cleaned our house (not an easy task on its own) She was thoughtful and easy to be around If you are looking for a mature, kind, intelligent Workaway that can troubleshoot and keep the house going - Annette is the right choice. I even tried to get her to come back for a second time however she was fully booked. Thank you Annette

Thanks Jeroen for your kindness and support our school. It was amazing job you have done for our school. You are a very nice, punctual, helpful, respectful and responsible person. As you know I'm doing my best to keep the school running and open for free for kids in the poor rural areas of Lolei community. Sorry for all mistakes happened in the classrooms and our family. We feel so lucky we could host Oskar. His gorgeous plastering work on the West side of our kura will be a regular reminder of the lovely time he spent with us. He learned so quickly from our previous Workawayer and the master plasterer supervising our project, earning respect from both. He became like a big brother to our boys and I hope they grow up to be even a little bit as calm, kind, and smart as Oskar. Oskar would be welcome back any time at our place, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to any other hosts.

Emilly volunteered with us for two and a half weeks and made a very positive contribution. She regularly participated in our English conversation nights and helped with conversation clubs and classes. Emilly prepared and delivered a presentation about Canada for several classes and guests, and she collaborated on translating part of the Peace Walking Tour into English. She was proactive, friendly, and full of helpful ideas that enriched the sessions. All staff and students enjoyed her warm, respectful presence — she quickly became part of our community. Emilly was reliable, engaged, and a pleasure to host.

Illia and Lucas volunteered here and left an excellent impression during their stay. They were always eager to help and readily collaborated in every activity we ran. Their positive attitude and kindness made them very easy to connect with — guests and staff alike warmed to them quickly. They contributed valuable marketing and social media experience, helping promote our café and products across our channels. Beyond digital work, they joined language classes, assisted with events, helped with painting, and supported light gardening and day-to-day tasks. Illia and Lucas are hardworking, reliable, and proactive. They brought creativity, professionalism, and genuine warmth to our team. — any project will benefit from their skills and friendly presence.

Was great to have Eben come and stay. He was a great help round my wee garden as it was a busy time of the year. He got on well with Dottie and she enjoyed his attention and company. Hope you are enjoying the rest of your travels and thanks again for coming to stay and help.

It was an absolute pleasure hosting Sydney and Dylan, they were great and respectful house guests, did all sorts of different inside and outside jobs to high standard and I really enjoyed talking to them about a wide range of topics. Dylan is an amazing wildlife photographer and took some brilliant pictures of birds around my place..

These two lovely ladies were great visitors and helpers. We did all have a good laugh.. we loved tbe French cooking too!

Dear Mathieu and Momo, Thank you for a wonderful experience and warm welcome at your farm! While I stay in this farm for 3 weeks, I could help for the farm like weeding, seeding, planting, and harvesting. Also I could help a bit on DIY for a room of their house. I stayed in a tent to sleep but for your free time you can also use the common area of the house and gerden and it was generally comfortable. We worked hard in the morning from 7 to noon, and we were free in the afternoon, and we had 3 days holidays in a week which is very generous but I am not sure it might depend on the season. Everyone I met here were nice and friendly and lovable. Even though I hardly understand French, they are always nice and to try to swich in English when there are people in a circle who don’t speack French. And the dishes for lunch were always nice! Mathieu and Momo and everyone there are good chefs! I wish I could have helped more and spent some more time to enjoy with local people there! You know those rare moments when you meet an embodied Angel. To be in the company of Isabelle is to have your heart uplifted, to feel joy you may not have experienced in a while. Isabelle is engaging, an excellent communicator, an incredibly competent woman. Isabelle knows who she is, her path and generously shares herself, her knowledge, skills and kindness. If you are lucky enough to invite her into your home and your heart, you will be glad you did 🥰

It was a pleasure hosting Kelly. From day one she eagerly jumped in to help and absolutely crushed with every task during her stay. Her outgoing, positive attitude was refreshing to be around, and she's an amazing cook! It was a huge help having her on our property, even for just a week. Thank you for everything!

Und natürlich nicht nur das, sondern er hat sich mit seiner ganzen Energie eingesetzt wo er konnte, bei den Pferden, im Garten und im Haus....Er hat selber geschaut wo dringend eine Hand gebraucht wurde und sich dort eingebracht. Das Beste sind seine Kochkünste....da hat man wirklich geschmeckt, dass er alles mit Liebe macht! Ovie, du bist uns in den wenigen Tagen ein liebevolles Familienmitglied geworden und wir vermissen dich schon jetzt! It has been a big pleasure to host Tina, who has helped us with the garden project with enthusiasm, respect and kindness. She has whitewashed the large wall for the workshop (60 m2), pulled tons of weeds and even eaten some of the 'weeds'/plants! Tina knows a lot about which plants are edible and what can be made from them. She has also repaired bicycle tires (several times😉), held a yoga class (she did not let herself be disturbed by a low-flying plane and 20 passing scooters that appeared in the middle of our sun salutation) and then she has drawn a lot of nice sketches of the area. Tine is a talented, practical and lovable person who generously offers her help and expertise. We highly recommend her.
