Description
🌸 Hello!! こんにちは!🌸
I'm Mania, a Polish artist. :)
Aside from drawing and making video games (which are both my main hobbies and my job), I love everything related to learning about other languages and cultures. It's been my dream for as long as I can remember to visit Japan (especially the countryside), so I'm planning to do that this year, between June and August!
For more info about me, please take a look at my skills section! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
My skills / qualities:
- I was raised by a gardener and a carpenter, so I have a lot of experience doing small physical jobs and fixes around the house and garden -- whatever I can't do yet, I'm definitely willing to learn!
- My experience in art can come in handy with all things that demand nimble hands or an artist's touch (whether it's a creative task or simple labor that needs dexterity, I'll be glad to help)
- I've worked as a cleaning staff and receptionist in the past, so I'm used to both physical labor and working with people
- I'm fluent in 2 languages (English and Polish), and have a basic understanding of Japanese (でも、ほんとに下手です。。。)
- I've been volunteering teaching kids how to draw at various public events and festivals ever since I was in high school, so I'd love to help teach your kids (if you have any) basic drawing skills (or English, for that matter!)
- I absolutely love pets, and they usually love me, too -- if you have any, I'll make sure to take good care of them! ❤️
My soft skills / personality:
- I'm a very curious and friendly person, so I'd love to talk and socialize (if you're up for it!)
- I'm polite and respectful of other people's boundaries, so I'd be easy to get along with (both for you and for any other Workawayers you might host at the same time)
- I'm a diligent and hard-working person, and always make sure to finish my part of the job
- I'd love to bring some local sweets and treats (or, if you drink - some of our famous Polish vodka :))Âge

Kenshi and Kai (as well as their parents and friends) are all very kind, inviting and interesting people, and I feel so lucky to have gotten to meet them and spend some time with them, both in daily life and at the various parties and events hosted at the (extremely cool) Temple. :)

Strongly recommend applying to everybody, but especially those of you just starting out with Workawaying and/or visiting Japan for the first time (as was I! :)).
