Hello, my name is Zachary. I’m 21 years old and from Australia, and I would love to help around the farm for the next month. I am extremely reliable in garden work, general maintenance, cleaning around the house, and most general tasks.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Queensland, with Japanese as one of my majors. I would love to learn more about Japanese culture. My grandmother is Ainu from northern Hokkaido, specifically Wakkanai, and she was the main reason for my interest in Japan.

I am already covered by health and travel insurance if anything happens. My current hobbies include learning kendo and kyudo, hiking, gardening, history, linguistics, animals, travel, music, reading, and more. I love learning Japanese and am currently at N4 level in my progress toward fluency. I would love to improve by gaining a deeper understanding of daily Japanese life.

I am happy to help with any task around the house, no matter the time of day. I am fit and able to complete any task that is required of me.

I’m very interested in both learning and teaching languages. I love cultural exchange and believe language is one of the best ways to connect with people. Outside of work, I’m very active and love hiking, exploring nature, and being outdoors. I enjoy staying fit and training regularly, so I’m always happy to help with physically active tasks. I also enjoy learning languages and studying different cultures — I find history and traditions really interesting.

I like board games and card games, especially strategy or social games, and I’m always keen to learn new ones. I enjoy music, good conversation, and spending time with families or groups. I’m easygoing, respectful, and I genuinely enjoy being part of a community rather than just passing through as a traveller.
