Hi,
I´m Vasco and I come from Cascais in Portugal .
I´ve just finished my bachelor in economics, and now I´m looking forward to travelling around for the next year, and meet new people and new stories, aswell as spending time in the nature, where I always feel the best.
I´ve always enjoyed to travel and to be in new situations, and I´m lucky enough to have already met some great people and great friends in that kind of situations, like travelling in europe also because i was lucky to study in Vienna for a semester or on other experiences like the camino de santiago that I´ve done 3 times, and everytime I have that kind of experiences I look forward to do more things like that, so I´m glad i finished my bachelor and now have the time.
On my free time i really enjoy doing sports like hiking, running and road cycling, aswell as team sports, specially football, which i played for a lot of years, I also really enjoy to read and to listen to music, aswell as camping and just being around without much of a plan, if possible.

I like gardening and overall physical work havind done gardening and tasks like painting walls and fences since I was quite small and I enjoy physical work, Ifeel its good to my head.
I´ve had a couple of experiences grape picking and I enjoyed it and working the fields overall.
I´m also glad to give some helped related to economics or finances or accounting based on my studies.
Also like animals and would like working with them, even though the only animals I´ve workedwith for some time are the dogs in my neighbourhood I´ve walked to make some cash.
And most important I´m excited to work in any way I can and to learn some new skills.

Everybody in the villages is very friendly and very welcoming, the surroundings are so beautiful with the river and monkeys and peacocks and rice paddies and it´s so easy to make some random friends and go on random adventures if you are into that kind of thing . I spent 4 weeks in voditsa and had a great time! Kathy is a really nice host and a very interesting person, and she makes sure that the volunteers have everything they need. Vasco was a really great help and a nice person to have around. He looked after my house and all of the animals for a few days when I had to go to Scotland and he was perfectly capable and responsible.
