Description
Hej! We're Uma and Jack, a couple of next door neighbours from Sweden. We originally met at Jack’s place over a shared meal with family and friends, exchanging stories from all around the world. That evening, brought together two like-minded people and put the trip we’re now on in motion.
Travel and volunteering have always been part of how we wanted to explore the world. Not just to see places, but to experience them. Be a part of them. Interacting with new people. Sharing stories with fellow travelers. Sharing stories with locals. Sharing a meal with some likeminded individuals, and another one with not so likeminded individuals. -

We both sit on a wide area of personal qualities and individual experiences. Making us fit for mostly anything. Jack has done seasonal work in the Norwegian mountains this past winter, including ski instructing, sales, bartending and cleaning up the bar toilets. He can for sure get his hands dirty. While graduating in Sweden he also did part time in retail. I (Uma) has worked at a group home for the past year, after a summer at a local art gallery hosting a children's group with a couple of colleagues. While graduating I did part time cleaning on the weekends.
Both of us are open-minded individuals. Through our past experiences, we've interacted with a wide range of unique people, learned alot, followed instructions and collaborated as a part of a team.
We might not be professional gardeners… just yet! But give us any task, and we’ll throw ourselves into it wholeheartedly. With a youthful drive and eagerness to learn, we’re ready to be humbled, get our hands dirty, and take on new challenges. -
