    Description

Hello! I'm Carla, an Italian-Guatemalan, a doctor by profession, an artist by passion, and a traveler by rebellion. I've lived in Costa Rica, Mexico City, NYC, Italy, Syria, and my beautiful Guatemala. Why am I here? Let me tell you: Some friends and I just started a hostel project in Guatemala City and are looking for an extra hand. We have experience as backpackers in more than 25 countries, so this isn't just a business, but a travel-friendly accommodation with the lowest prices in the area. We strive to be better for our guests every day. We want to be a place of convergence and relaxation. The hostel is located in the Cuatro Grados Norte neighborhood of Zone 4 of the city. It's a spectacular neighborhood with a lot of life, lots of art, it's super safe, it's the quintessential gastronomic district, and the city's tourist spots are nearby. The hostel has only been open for a few weeks, and we're looking for someone with crazy ideas to join the team. Here at the hostel, there's naturally a lot of cultural exchange; we learn and grow together.

I'm currently looking for an extra hand to help me with reception, cleaning common areas, or general maintenance—someone with ideas to add to the project.

I offer a free bed, access to the kitchen, and some ingredients for your recipes (VEGETABLES AND EGGS ONLY; meats, grains, and other supermarket items are at your own expense).
We enjoy sharing dinners on the terrace, spontaneous outings to Antigua, and impromptu plans to visit some places in the city!
    IMPORTANT:
    1. I must mention that I have a dog named Luna who always accompanies me. If you don't like animals or have allergies, please consider it. Luna is an important part of this team.
    2. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY YOU ADMISSION AND STAY IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.

    With love,
    Carly

Hola!

    2. NOS RESERVAMOS EL DERECHO DE ADMISION Y ESTADIA SI TIENES PROBLEMAS CON EL ACOHOL O LAS DROGAS.

    Con amor,
    Carly

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Being a hostel the cultural exchange is daily in the project, we receive guests from different places, we have met really great people here! But the most important thing is that you will also share with local people, the authentic Guatemalan. The neighbourhood is great too, it's a very urban and safe neighbourhood with many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, cultural and artistic collectives, there are always interesting activities in the area!
