Description

Hello, my name is Andy and I am a 58 year old American male looking to expand his horizons and connect with my European roots. Having spent my entire life in the US, I am now looking forward to the next chapter and so far I have visited Spain and most recently Germany, Austria & Italy with plans of emigrating to one of the EU countries.

I grew up in the countryside on a small Farmette in southern Wisconsin USA with my four siblings and wonderful parents. My mother was an artist and wildlife rehabilitator, while my father worked as an engineer for the University of Wisconsin. Using both sides of our brains was requisite.

Eventually, I went off to college to get a degree in Biology but switched to IT and have spent my working career as an IT consultant. That may have been my vocation, but I am a creative at heart! I enjoy working with my hands fixing things, drawing, painting, making music, etc.

Pastimes include art, music production, reading, exploring and hunting for antiques and collectibles. I like to stay healthy by eating well and exercising. I am ready to see more and share my experience with others while enjoying the company of like minded people!

Off and on for the last 25 years I've mainly worked as an IT Consultant, so am quite comfortable around technology. I've also done my share of menial tasks and am not averse to getting my hands dirty. Also, for what it's worth, I have some life experience being 56 years of age.
