Kia ora, we are originally from New Zealand but are doing a working holiday in Norway, so Norway will be home for the next year-ish!
Previously we lived and work in Innsbruck, Austria, for six months. We are now travelling by car to Tromsø as Alex has a job there as a Northern Lights photographer and guide! We have been living out of the car and tenting lots but now we want to find somewhere to base ourselves for a while before moving to Tromø!Interests

More details about your skills
I love trying new things so have a wide skill set. I have experience in both retail, hospitality and cleaning. I volunteered in a vets in New Zealand and an animal shelter in Thailand, thus have experience caring for animals. Whilst in Japan I worked as a breakfast chef / bar tender / waitress at a hotel in Hakuba. I also have a physics degree with a minor in computing so am computer literate. I am a fast learner and hard worker.
I possess strong interpersonal skills, in that I value and respect every member of my team. My leadership has been recognized as I was promoted to manager after only working in my last job for 4 months. As the site manager I communicate between us the traffic controllers, the contractors, and the public. My enjoyment and aptitude for teamwork is evidenced through my commitment as a forward in my varsity hockey team for 4 years, and being an active part of Gems (Gender minorities) in STEM at Otago University. Currently I am volunteering for Wakatipu Wilding Pines, which involves cutting down pine trees (to protect the native flora).
Flexibility is a key component to my personality; I have enjoyed a wide range of summer employment, pushed personal boundaries on the Spirit of New Zealand and volunteered at an animal sanctuary in Thailand. I enjoy a challenge and recently started learning Spanish whilst travelling South America last summer.
