Description
(English Below)
I love the outdoors, the ocean, the earth, and the place where they meet. The stories of people enchant me. Sustainability and aesthetic matter to me.
Hello, I am a volunteer taking a gap year to surf regularly and explore Latin America. I taught myself Spanish and can speak well. I am looking to bring myself to native speaker level. I love remote places, where you can live slow and deep, connected to the elements. I practice yoga, meditation and am drawn to natural farming and conscious education.
Have been India for the past five years volunteering full-time at an ashram — as a writer, farmer, in the kitchen and dining, and general day-to-day support. I am used to living in dormitories, sleeping on the floor and eating only two meals a day. (It is the biggest ashram in the world and the routine was 24x7 rigorous.) Before that I was getting my PhD in California, where I was surfing at Santa Cruz. Right now I am based out of England.
I have also traveled all over India on motorcycle for four months. I love surfing, cooking, hiking, walking, traveling, etc. I like to listen to people's stories and connect with them. -
