Hi, my name is Stefanie, Stef for short, and I'm 31 years old (though people often say I look younger :)).
I recently quit my job, ready to embrace whatever adventures come next. So far I haven't regret this decision!
I’m based in the south of Germany, near Munich, and feel most at home in the mountains, where I spend as much of my free time as possible hiking, biking and exploring nature.
That said, I also fall in love with the ocean every single time I get the chance to travel haha.
I absolutely love summer and feel very grateful that I was able to spend this past winter in sunny South Africa. During my time there, I had an amazing Workaway experience and I’m really looking forward to hopefully many more experiences like that.
Another big passion of mine is horses. I’ve been riding my whole life, and there’s nothing quite like the sense of freedom you feel on horseback.
I follow a vegan lifestyle, but I’m very independent when it comes to food and more than happy to take care of my own meals. The last thing I want is to make things complicated 😊

The last five years I worked as a teacher in a primary and middle school. This job was never boring and even though it could be really exhausting, I really enjoyed it.
Before I started my career as a teacher I spent almost two years in Australia and had a wonderful time there. I used to work in a kitchen for 6 months. After that I worked in one of Australias biggest stables.
