Description
We are two friends from Scotland (26 and 27) with extensive travelling experience, outgoing personalities and a flexible, hardworking nature. We have been travelling South America since November 2025 and are keen to help out by volunteering whilst learning more about the culture and language. I (Miranda) have volunteered through workaway across South East Asia in the past. Some duties included social media management, TEFL, hostel work and refugee relief work. We both have experience working with children, I taught in Vietnam and Cairn taught in China so we are comfortable around young people. In terms of volunteer work, we are open to any type of experience with a focus on making a positive impact - we are very active people so any manual work is also welcome. No dietary requirements and always open to trying new cuisines.

We have both experienced living away from home for the last 5 years so are used to unfamiliar environments and meeting people from around the world. Myself and Sophie have also worked in hospitality and hotels/hostels before, Sophie has been a ski rep and I have worked in the music industry so we would consider ourselves all-rounders in terms of work experience. Overall we are friendly and sociable people looking to volunteer in a similar kind of environment.
