Hello!

I am a 29 year old Somatic Psychotherapist living in San Francisco, California. I recently completed a three year Master's program where I studied the connection between the mind and body, and I now have been practicing psychotherapy in San Francisco for the past two years with clients of all ages. I am passionate about this field of study and love anything mind-body related, including yoga, dance, music, exercise, gardening, spending time outdoors, etc. I used to teach mindfulness to school children in my free time.

Currently, I am planning to take a break between jobs for the summer of 2025 and travel through Europe with my partner Noah (profile linked). We will be traveling together and therefore are looking for work and accommodation for two people only.

In terms of the work, we are most excited about gardening/farming, animal care, childcare, and hospitality work. While it is important to enjoy the work, what matters more is the community of people and the atmosphere of the place. We are looking for somewhere to build connections and truly care about the people and the place we call home.

A little more about me:

I grew up in the wine region of California and have held many jobs in the wine industry, including marketing/business, sales, hospitality, and cellar hand. I love the culture of the wine industry and am always interested in learning more.

Prior to this, I have lived in Spain for a year in college and traveled extensively through Central and South America. I speak conversational Spanish and enjoyed the opportunity for cultural exchanges, living with families in both Madrid and Costa Rica. These were some of the most enriching experiences of my life, and this is one of the main reasons I'm drawn to Workaway--to get to know a family and their way of life, their culture, traditions, and practice languages.

I also have experience working in NGOs, yoga, restaurants, and food preparation. I absolutely love to cook and feel so fulfilled by growing, tending, and cooking food--the full cycle of life. In my free time, I like to read, hike, camp, swim, play with animals. I have always grown up around animals and they bring me so much joy and cuddles!

During summer of 2022, I worked at an off-grid yoga retreat center in Greece cleaning rooms for 5 weeks. I am so grateful to Workaway for connecting me with this experience as it was one of the best summers I've ever had. This summer, Noah and I are hoping for something similar--an unforgettable opportunity to meet new people, work hard, learn new skills, and enjoy a different way of life than our normal day-to-day in San Francisco.
