Hello, I’m Sonya
I am a qualified English Second Language Teacher from Australia and I would love to come work with your family. I’m passionate about languages and love connecting with people from all over the world. I'm looking for opportunities where I can experience your way of living and feel part of the family.
I am 28 years old and have recently quit my professional job to explore more of Europe and improve my Italian. I have a Masters degree in Architecture and have been working in a timber workshop teaching university students to build and design. I have experience with handyman jobs and I enjoy designing or doing anything creative. I also enjoy cooking and would love to learn your favourite recipes and cook together. I love dogs, hiking, nature, dancing, meeting new people and learning languages. I speak Italian (Intermediate level) and am slowly learning Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and Hungarian.

I would be happy to help you and your family practice your English language skills if you are interested. I focus on conversational English practice and pronunciation but I am also happy to teach grammar. Please note, I will not be bringing workbooks with me on my travels but I am happy to work with whichever resources you use. I would also like to improve my Italian and/or Spanish with you.
