I am an English language assistant in Madrid - just did a year, loved it. Now trying to find volunteer opportunities in Spain for the summer!

I was born in New Delhi, but grew up in Buenos Aires and Washington D.C. (my father is an Indian diplomat).

I was born in Delhi, but grew up in Buenos Aires and Washington D.C., and so am native in 3 distinct languages, rhythms, forms of being (however you ascribe the art that is speaking). In addition, I am a semi-professional musician (always growing, always learning, always writing), and have been teaching as I learn and collaborate across all the languages I know.

I've taught music and language arts across age groups; most recently, I spent a year in the city of my birth (New Delhi) teaching Spanish in Instituto Cervantes. After that, I just wrapped up a year here in Madrid as an English language assistant in a secundaria (high school).

I play a variety of instruments, and love writing, cooking, and football!

I would love to be able to volunteer somewhere where I could share my love of language and music in exchange for an accomodation and good food! Love lentils, and a balanced meal, and am happy to sing for and about it.
