hey! I'm Sharon, a 24 years old girl from Switzerland.
In august 2023 I finished my bachelor degree in ethnology and educational psychology, and decided to take a gap year.
I did an internship of 4 months in a refugee center in Switzerland and the plan for the nexts months is to travel around the world to discover new cultures, meet new people, share experiences and adventures.
I love to travel and I already had the chance to visit different countries. Every place and person I met helped me grow and create the person I am now.
I'm a calm person who can also enjoy some crazy time with the right company, I like reading and going on walkings (especially on the mountain). I love being in contact with other human beings, work together and have fun.Interests

More details about your skills
Since I spend the majority of my life studying, I don't have 1.000 working skills; I however had some experience beside my schooling. I worked in a bar/restaurant in the little village where I grew up, I also did a lot of babysitting. I volunteered in a daycare in Tanzania where I also painted some walls. I helped refugees learn italian and taught french. All this brought me to a 4 months internship in a refugees center, during which I helped social assistant in their work.
I volunteered in a hostel where I did the reception work, but also as all rounder in different places in Thailand. I've also challenged myself by teaching english in a school in Cambodia and I actually loved it!
I'm always ready to put myself into new challenges and to step out of my comfort zone.
I like to be in the nature, outside. When I was a kid my grandpa had a garden and I used to help him : thanks to the tasty rewards (;
For the lasts 3 years and a half, I lived alone so housework is not a problem. I cook and love do to it, I like to try new recipes.
I have a lovely cat and an enthusiastic dog, I like the animal's company.Age

I really appreciate her to be here and the work she did in the reception, we needed her kind of profile.
She’s open to chat, smiling and we had some good conversations.

I really had a good time there, in the cool weather of Cameron Highlands. The work that’s ask to do is easy and you have the time to explore the area with other volunteers or with the guests. Mani will explain what’s the work about in your first day, but basically is receptionist and rent the bikes.… read more
