I am 59, a payroll manager, mother to 2 grown up sons and happily married.
Whatever I am doing I need to feel useful and have a sense of purpose. Making other people happy makes me happy! This could be by enjoying a home cooked meal together and chatting about our day. Or maybe helping someone figure out a problem/achieve something they have struggled with. Or mending the tear in your trousers even if you are still wearing them. If we can laugh and have a good time whilst getting tasks completed then the day is better. I love being in the sea - whatever the time of year - and live about 5 miles from the coast.

Things I can do - well I am good at IT, administration and accounts. Setting up systems, getting things to run smoothly. I have worked in an office/accounts environment for the last 15 years.
I can cook, clean and sew. I am good at tidying and organising. I enjoy being with people of all ages, and like to chat. I am a proficient swimmer.
I am not particularly strong or fit, so manual labour is not for me.

What else ...

I enjoy traveling - using any spare cash and time doing so. In the last few years I have been to Iceland, India, Mauritius, South Africa, the Maldives, USA, Canada, the Azores, France, Spain, Cyprus and Crete. I have experience of driving minibuses. I love reading. I volunteer twice a week walking Millie (a dog) for her elderly owner who is no longer able to do this herself - This is great as Millie and I get some exercise, then I have a cup of tea and chat afterwards. I am involved with our local twinning association, and have made firm friends with many of our French "twins" - although their English is much better than my French.
