Hello there hosts! I'm Rose from Longmont, Colorado and I'm hoping to gain some farm experience while traveling. My dream is to have my own little animal therapy farm/homestead and I love the idea of gathering tips and tricks from a variety of folks and cultures. I've never been afraid of doing the hard work nobody else wants to do and the bigger the challenge and dirtier my hands get, the happier I am. I'm particularly drawn to the unique energy of all types of animals so hosts with farm animals is my ideal situation. Being an empath, I'm incredibly responsible and respectful with a people-loving personality, but can also work alone no problem as well as that is also deeply rewarding time for me. I hope I can come help you as much as you'll help me!

I've volunteered at horse stables and have experience with horses. I currently take natural horsemanship classes in CO. I have cleaned chicken coops and cared for goats including milking them and making fresh goat cheese. I was once a dog trainer at the Humane society to help make dogs more adoptable. I'm a software engineer and have built websites and mobile apps. I have experience with organic gardening, worked as a nanny for two years and created a variety of nutritious meals. I lift weights a lot and like to do heavy work for exercise! I also enjoy weeding, believe it or not, as it teaches me patience. I'm pretty much up for anything!

I'm a singer in some classic rock bands here in CO. I also play congas and other percussion instruments. I love to sit around my bonfire and play ukulele. Bonfires under the stars make me insanely happy. I think I'm overall capable of giving a lot of love to both humans and animals. :)

Being a Taurus, I love to get my hands in the dirt and and touch the soil. I'm simple and don't have a lot of demands.
