Hello! My name is Robertina 🙂 I’m Hungarian, grew up between The Gambia in West Africa and the south of France, and have been living in Australia for the past 10 years.

I started my volunteering journey in 2024, and I haven’t stopped since! For me, volunteering is one of the most incredible ways to travel and experience the world. I love finding a little home wherever I go, getting involved in the local community, learning new skills, and sharing everyday life with people from different backgrounds. ❤️

I’m a creative and curious soul, and I put my heart and energy into every place I join. I’m always happy to get my hands dirty, learn something new, help wherever I’m needed, and bring a positive attitude to the team.

I love working with people, nature, the ocean, art and anything that allows me to be creative. I’m adaptable, independent and easygoing, but I also really value connection, good communication and creating a nice atmosphere with the people around me.

I've got a diverse skill set from over 10 years in hospitality, working everywhere from bars to managing a restaurant. Right now, I’m a kayak tour guide in Sydney, sharing my love for the outdoors.

I’m also a certified swim instructor and lifeguard, with five years of experience at Bondi Beach. I taught kids to swim back in France, and I love seeing their confidence grow in the water. Besides that, I teach dance and run painting events, mixing my passion for movement and creativity.

I love building things and have a sailboat that I renovated with some help from friends. I enjoy hands-on projects and tackling new challenges. I'm always eager to learn new skills and try new things.

I also have experience with social media, having promoted my own sip and paint business and helped grow our dance school’s online presence. I love taking videos and editing them, so I can help with social media content creation.
