Description
I'm from Germany but have spent the last 9 years working as a HR professional in Ireland. I'm now on a career break exploring Canada until the end of 2026 and I'm new to Workaway. My journey is starting in Toronto and leading me all the way to Vancouver over the course of the year. I am so excited to see all the different facets this beautiful country has to offer.
I am a curious, open minded person who enjoys meeting new people, visiting new places and learning new things and what better way to do all that than being a Workawayer? I'm hoping to experience things this year that are different from my life in the corporate world these last couple of years, and to broaden my horizons.
I enjoy a good days' work and to unwind at night with a good book or in good company, swapping stories or playing games. I love animals and hope to meet a lot of them during my travels. -

My work skills are mainly administrative in nature, but I also have some experience working in stables and with animals from when I spent my younger years riding and taking care of horses. I can also do all types of housework and cook.

At home I like to ride my motorcycle on the weekends. I love talking to people and learning about their stories, and if I can't do that you can find me with my Kindle, reading fictional stories instead.
