Description
I’m Raul Gualtruzzi, a humanitarian worker with over seven years of experience in the international protection of refugees and migrants, particularly in border contexts and crisis situations. I have worked in Argentina, Brazil, Guatemala, El Salvador, and I’m currently in France volunteering with people on the move.
I hold a Law degree, a Master’s in International Relations, and postgraduate studies in humanitarian assistance. I speak Spanish (native), Portuguese, English, and intermediate French. I adapt easily to different cultural environments and enjoy working in diverse teams.
In 2016, I joined a Workaway experience in Dublin, where I was responsible for cleaning tasks and cooking dinner for a family. This allowed me to strengthen my domestic skills and adaptability in an international environment.
I’m now looking for a total immersion experience in the French language (ideally with a host family), where I can share moments, learn the language, and also help with household tasks. I really enjoy cinema and music, conversations about politics, and traveling.
I am an Italian citizen and can travel with flexibility. I’m motivated to learn from new experiences, share my skills, and contribute to projects with a positive social impact. -

I can cook quite well, being an assistant in the kitchen, or assist in household cleaning. I have been scout master for several years. I can teach Spanish, Italian, or sax (though I have the instrument with me). Assist in cleaning companies, or any other task in general.

I am currently in Calais, France. I would like to find an NGO or a host family where I can spend most of my time speaking French. At the moment, I am volunteering with an NGO, but the working and household language is exclusively English, which gives me little contact with French, and that is not what I’m looking for.
