Description

I am Chinese and also a university student studying in the United States. I have many interests, though there are plenty I haven't yet tried. What truly motivates me in life is my curiosity about everything. Every night before going to sleep, the thought that there are still so many new things I haven't experienced or learned fills me with hope for the next day. I look forward to doing something different each day and feel full of possibilities.

I love immersing myself in nature. I've been on multiple hiking trips in both California, USA, and Beijing, China, and I've discovered that the experience and scenery differ with each location. I'm eager to explore more trails. I also adore small animals—I've had many pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, golden hamsters, rabbits, Call ducks, and quails. However, since moving from China to the U.S. for studies, I couldn't bring them with me, and I miss my dog and cat very much.

Additionally, I really enjoy crafting. This year, I picked up crocheting as a new hobby—I’ve made a blanket and half a scarf (it’s still unfinished!). In short, I’m curious and eager to explore everything, and I’m excited to learn and experience different ways of life!

First, I have strong learning and adaptability skills. I enjoy learning, especially when it comes to hands-on tasks. I can quickly get the hang of a new job because I tend to grasp the underlying patterns easily.

Second, I am very patient. I worked as a tutor for a year in China, teaching over a dozen children aged 5 to 7, and I truly enjoy spending time with young kids.

Third, I absolutely adore small animals. I can bathe them, walk dogs, and even prepare homemade meals for dogs or cats.

Additionally, I work well both independently and as part of a team. In a team setting, I proactively look for tasks to do and discuss plans with teammates. When working alone, I am also highly efficient.

Lastly, I am passionate about everything! I know my experience is still limited, but I am confident to walk more paths, see more of the world, do more things, and create more memories!

I enjoy playing board and card games like Catan, Werewolf, Mahjong, Monopoly, and Uno. I'm also eager to learn other interesting card games! I play the piano a little, though I haven't practiced in a while. I love swimming, hiking, crocheting, and doing handicrafts. There are also many other things I'd like to learn, such as guitar, tennis, tarot, skateboarding, surfing, and more.
