Description

Hi! I'm Pippa from Canada :) I've just joined Workaway after hearing wonderful travel stories from friends. This summer I will be adventuring through Ireland, UK and Europe. My parents are from England and Ireland, and I spent lots of time there as a child. I'm completely charmed by the countryside, the sea, the accents, and the culture. I am a ceramic artist and illustrator; most of my work is inspired by childhood memories of playing outside and splashing in the sea. I am seeking experiences that bring me closer to people, to nature, and to myself. I love being in the great outdoors, surrounded by vast nature, wildlife, and animals. I have been craving adventure, to connect with my roots, and to connect with myself in the process. I hope Workaway can provide me with the space and opportunity to grow, to discover different ways of life, and a sense of clarity for what I want out of life.

I am good at working with my hands, working with people, and with children. I have experience working collaboratively to build small structures and basic furniture. I am skilled in drawing, painting, and sculpting and interested in documenting the landscapes and nature during my travels. I love to find crafty and creative ways of doing things with sustainability in mind. I can help with cooking, garden work, foraging, childcare, looking after animals, building/making/fixing things! I don't have extensive farm experience, but I have done a lot of dog-sitting in my past!
