Hello, I'm Andrea from Germany. I' m Geographer and lived and worked many years in different countries, before returning to Germany. But now my children are adults, so I will have a gap year and want to travel around with more time and see more of the daily life, the culture and the people in the country where I 'm traveling. Additionally I would love to improve my language skills. I am a quick learner and open to attaining new skills.
So I'm looking out for hosts where we can share experiences and working together. I like working in nature, but would also enjoy working in a bed and breakfast type environment or taking care of children, animals and properties.
I raised my children and I am used working with teenagers. We have always had a variety of pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, etc) so I am used to living with animals. As a young woman I learned to ride, but I didn't do it for many years.
Some years ago I ran a sheep farm with my then partner and produced goat and sheep cheese. So I know what farm work means, especially making hay, but also taking care of the sheep I loved.
I like sports, like cycling, jogging, and hiking. Also I like to discover culture, like arts and music, reading, cooking and doing crafts, but most importantly, interacting with people and laughing together.

As student I worked in a little hotel and hospitality is important to me. I'm used to work with computer, I know some of accounting, I love communication and organising things. I did five years of sheep breeding and cheese production (goat and sheep milk), I love baking and cooking, I am good in project planning and know some of fund raising.
