Ireland - from Apr 2025 View allDescription
Hi! Im Jasmin!
Let me tell you something about myself. I'm travelling around Ireland, looking for the right place for me to live for the rest of my lives. I want to build my own farm with lots of different animals and a big garden, so that eventually I can live completely off the land and not have to go to the supermarket regularly. I have gained some experience in life so far, but I would still be grateful for the opportunity to learn more.
You might be interested to know that:
I have experience of raising children thanks to my brother, who I had to look after almost entirely by myself due to family issues. He was a fussy child, so I had to find ways to hide vegetables in his food to ensure he had a healthy diet. He was also the reason I started growing my own fruit and vegetables and keeping chickens and sheep, so that he wouldn't have to rely on junk food or poor-quality produce. This meant that we regularly had fresh fruit and vegetables from our garden, fresh eggs every day, and regular meat and sausages from our sheep.
So if you're looking for someone to help with childcare, gardening, cooking or pet care, you'll probably find that I'm the right person for the job. I have no problem with hard physical labour — in fact, I would be very happy to do it.Interests

More details about your skills
I grew up on a farm, so as you can see from my description, I have experience of bringing up children, having raised my brother, as well as experience of gardening, having grown almost all the fruit and vegetables that my brother and I needed. I was always keen to preserve any surplus fruit and vegetables so that we would still have some until the following spring.
I also have experience in raising and caring for sheep and chickens. I was present at almost every sheep birth and learnt early on how to deal with the terrible things that can happen during a sheep's pregnancy, such as miscarriages, deformities in the lambs and death of the mother).
I also have some experience training dogs. It always depends on the dog, but I can teach them lead discipline, tricks, manners and calm behaviour in a variety of situations.
Furthermore I have been helping my mum in her bakery since the age of 17, during which time I have learnt to bake fresh bread, breadrolls, cakes, tarts and pastries. My only nemesis is sourdough. Sometimes everything goes according to plan; other times, it goes completely wrong! But still, I love to bake.
During my time in Ireland, I also spent two days on a dairy farm, where I learnt how to milk using both a machine and my hands.Age

What else ...
I would be very happy to learn all about your animals and how you take care of them. If you have horses, I would love the opportunity to ride and improve my skills.
In Schoolyear 9, when I was 14, I completed an internship at a care home for the elderly, where I learnt how to interact with and care for older people.
I started with 17 and completed a three-year IT systems management apprenticeship in Germany, after which I worked for two years as a network and data centre engineer for the public sector. Some more information
