  • Description

My name is Pauline and I grew up in a small village surrounded by nature. When I was a child my family and I didn't really travel that much. But as I grew up I wanted to see more and learn about the different cultures and languages all around the world.
But the thought of only traveling to a country as a tourist was kinda boring for me.
Since I meet a few work and travellers in my childhood, because we had someone in our village that offered such a thing, I learned about work and travel at a young age. I always enjoyed talking to them and learning about their home countrys. You could say, that I looked up to them for how brave they were, for travelling to a foreign country. So I thought why not try work and travel myself, because I want to experience the lifestyle of the locals while helping them with tasks, because I don't want to only take but also give something back to the people that are kind enough to let me stay with them and maybe exchange some stories and experiences and collect many beautiful memories with them.

My hobbys are mostly painting, reading, singing and cosplaying. My passion for crative things was already born when I was a child and joined a childrens choir which was part of my life for 10 years before I had to move due to my work. I discovered cosplay for me in 2019 and quickly took a liking to it and now I can't imagine a life without it.
But I also enjoy to be in the nature or around animals, because I grew up with alot of animals around our home, which is also why I choose a working career in a field with animals as an veterinarian technician.

One of my biggest goals is to travel to Japan and that dream can finally come true this year.
I first discovered anime in my childhood when I saw my first ever Studio Ghibli movie in the late night TV program. Since then I started to watch more and more anime and my interest in especially Japan started forming. The dream to travel to such an amazing country formed itself rather quickly. But I knew that just a few weeks wouldn't be enough to be able to explore almost every part and learn about the culture as much as possible.
So I thought why not use this opportunity for work and travel to see the different parts of the country in different seasons and explore as much as possible.
I love the japanese cuisine and always look for new restaurants in my city to try out but not only do I love the food but also the culture and traditions, I want to learn more about it and I also want to see the different locations, the differences between the big cities and the small villages.

  • More details about your skills

I'm a very creative person, because I always loved to paint and craft things, then later on I discovered cosplay for me and started to take up more complicated crafting challenges, such as making a whole outfit from scratch or building armor, and occasionally I try myself at video editing and a bit of photoshop.
As I grew up I also helped my father alot when he build something new for our house, was it renovating a room, building furniture or laying out a new garden path, I always helped him where I could.
In june 2026 I finished my 3 years long traineeship to become a veterinarian technician and collected a lot of experience handling animals, stressful situations and learning about communication.
