Hi, my name is Patrik and I'm from Italy. I'm 20 years old and I study Political Science at the University of Turin. I'm a guy very open to new experiences and over the last few years I've developed a real passion for travelling. I'm interested in working with NGOs and international relations, but I don't want to just learn it from books; I think the best lessons come from the real world, not from classrooms.

I love mountains and sports, and when I travel I look for quiet places where nature is still genuine, away from crowded cities. At home I grow tropical plants and I enjoy taking care of them; it's a passion that reflects my love for nature. If you have gardens or orchards, don't worry: I know how to look after them. I'm reliable, I learn quickly and I'm not afraid of hard work. Plus, I'm very good at cooking, having worked as a chef for several months.

In November I'll leave for a month with an Italian NGO to do volunteer work in Benin in the education sector, and I'm looking for Workaway experiences that have the same spirit; concrete and meaningful.
