Description

I love to travel and discover new places but I really care about sustainable tourism. I am also keen to enjoy a more immersive sight of what it's like to actually live another day-to-day life than mine, in another country. As a teacher, I have the privilege to have a lot of time-off during the summer and I really want to use the spare energy that I have left to meet new people, learn new skills, take care of other people, be surrounded by nature and practice my English.
Helping others brings me happiness ; I feel at ease with children, teenagers (as the elder sister of a family of four and an high-school teacher), seniors and even animals ! I am passionate about art and cinema but I also enjoy a lot of physical activities such as bouldering, swimming, running (activities I practice multiple times per week) and trekking, road-tripping when I am on holidays.

As a teacher and the eldest of a family of four daughters (25, 22 and 12), I'm used to be surrounded by children and teenagers and to take care of them. I am responsible and can be serious but I also enjoy a lot of creative or fun activities (cooking, drawing, playing music, acting, sports, etc.).
I love cooking and baking (even though I'm still learning some recipes). During the summer holidays, I help my father to collect honey from the bee hives we have in the family garden. I also help my parents in the garden : harvest the vegetables for the family meals, take care of the chicken and the ducks, etc. I am also very dog and cat friendly.
I have my drivers licence and I am very independent.

What else ...

I do a lot of physical activities. I enjoy some bouldering time twice a week with my friends ; it is a way to make new connexions ! I swim and run a lot. During the winter, I enjoy skiing. In the summer, I love to surf in the west coast of France with some friends.
I love to play board games with family and friends. I draw and paint sometimes but I also play guitar and bass. I love to read (one of my favorite book these days is Martin Eden by Jack London !). When I'm abroad, I like to go to museums and to visit some social places (coffee, walking tours, bars, etc.).
