Hello, World!
I am Andrey, 26 y.o. I was born and raised in the very heart of Eurasia in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. When I was kid I dreamt to travel the world, and when I started university I took every opportunity to travel, participating in various exchange programs (student's camps, international seminars and volunteering, work&travel and many more) and now I discovered Workaway! I consider myself as a conscious traveller, I am not really interested in travelling the world in 80 days, but instead I prefer to have quality time in one place, immerse myself into new culture, meet new people and contribute to the local community. So workaway concept is very favorable to me.
Another my passion is nature. I come from the region where steppe and nothingness is all over the place with no change of landscape for hundreds of kilometres, so it's always fascinating for me to explore nature parks, mountains, rivers and lakes another regions have to offer. I am quite a hiker/walker. 100k steps per week is a ordinary thing to me. I like biking too. I enjoy spending time outside, exploring new places.
I do really like animals, have fun taking care of them and spending time with them. Back in Kazakhstan my family have some farm animals and also a garden where we grow bio veggies and fruits, the process brings us peace of mind, joy and quality food for the whole season, so we don't buy it from supermarkets.
I am adventurous, calm and easy-going person, fully opened for new experiences, eager to learn something new and share.
I am good team worker and don't mind work independently.
I speak good English and started learning German recently.
