Description
from January 22 until Feb 2 2024
I am in short-term need of help on the boat in the household and with a bit of household assistance due to a fractured arm... if you are interested in a short stay in Berlin and like homework, I would appreciate some help with cooking, cleaning, shopping, getting firewood etc while my partner is away.
I am an International Citizen who has lived and worked in many parts of the world and I enjoy hosting guests and friends from all over. I moved to Berlin in 2016 and have been living on the large houseboat ever since. I work a lot and enjoy doing this together with others in a team.
I have a number of jobs on the boat which require ongoing attention, different paint and repair jobs, wood cutting, chopping and stapling as well as a number of household related tasks.
I have two cats
thank you and greetings

Berlin is a fascinating city that has a lot to offer. If you are interested in spending some time there but do not have much money - this is the best opportunity. The boat is centrally located and well connected to public transport.
Help
The hours are flexible and you can work independently. At the moment I am looking for someone from January 22 until Feb 2 to help with getting firewood, as well as household chores. (see profile text)

The boat is beautifully furnished and offers all amenities. The guest room is small but very comfortable, all windows open out to the water with a beautiful view. There is a lovely kitchen and home made food will be provided throughout the stay.
What else ...
Berlin is best known for its historical associations as the German capital, internationalism and tolerance, lively nightlife, its many cafés, clubs, bars, street art, and numerous museums, palaces, and other sites of historic interest. Berlin's architecture is quite varied.

She made sure that I had everything I needed at any given time and also tried to explain how to complete every single task I had to do despite her never ending work and family schedule.
The boat was also a really nice place where to stay; it was cozy and… read more
Would love to come back if we are in Berlin again.
This was such a quirky and cool houseboat we felt so lucky to be able to stay here. It's in a great location, about half an hour away from the city centre of Berlin and a very easy bus ride away! We really enjoyed helping her out with a range of tasks such as gardening, painting,… read more
