Hello,
I'm Michael, a 32 year old German and I'm currently working for a sustainable supermarket in Munich. I grew up on a farm near Munich myself, which is why I like that I now work together with local farmers and try to sell their produce.
A couple of years ago I traveled around the world for 8 month working for several workaway hosts from a buddhist tree nursery in Canada to a Hostel in Japan. Since then I love to explore new cultures and countries from very unique perspectives. Every host, every fellow traveler has his/her way of seeing the world and bringing the people together is the magic of traveling.
I'm now settled in Munich, but I still want to continue having workaway experiences in different parts of Europe.
I really like nature and I have no problem with doing some physical work and getting dirty hands, but I also like to work together with other people and socialize :)
My main goals are to learn more about different cultures but also about myself. I also hope to meet a lot of new people and friends.

As I studied electrical engineering I'm good with general technical understanding.
I also like to do some physical work like seeding/weeding/harvesting or building as well as general maintenance.
during various workaways I gained additional experience in farming, working in hostels and even in building a campsite in the jungle (even if that might not be very useful in Europe ;) )
Basically I am willing to give my best at any task. For me, the outcome of the work is more important. I would like to do stuff that is either contributing to a sustainable lifestyle or generally helping people or other living things.
