Hello - My name is Mara! 🌞

I have a passion for life with many hobbies and interests, happy to fill my day with my favorite activities, either solo or with community.
I love to spend time outdoors, try new foods and learn from all people. I love long meals with shared conversations. The sunshine brings me so much happiness. Some hobbies include: knitting, swimming and baking sourdough bread (some pictures in my gallery).

I am a quick learner and always ready to try something new. I like to find old things and fix them. I want to work with my hands and body, be in nature and see the world. People find me easygoing, good at following direction and open minded.

Some random skills I want to learn: medicinal plants, tiling, farm work, turning raw wool into yarn.

🧡I love having an active life. Travel is so beautiful to me for the opportunity to learn about other peoples lives and life lessons as well as new perspectives to my own. I love workaway for the opportunity to get to know a community deeper than just visiting a place, I enjoy having purposeful travels.

🥕Some topics I am interested in learning more about include: holistic health, medicinal plants, any forms of healing, perspectives on community, recipes of local dishes, favorite healing foods. I am always interested in listening to stories and sharing my own.
