Hi!
My name is Maelys, I am 22 and I am a French student, about to start an internship in the movies industry. I have had the opportunity to do a Workaway in the past, which will always be a precious memory for me. I'd like to renew the experience before starting my internship, as discovering places, people and cultures is among things I love most.
I am a curious person, very keen on music, cinema, playing sports and board games. In the past, I've had experience as a vineyard handworker, and more recently as a summer camp counselor with children aging from 6 to 14. I am a quick learner, and always motivated. Whether it's farming of any kind, arts and crafts, gardening, teaching or playing with the kids, I am down for it.
I really look forward to experiencing new things, and can't wait to meet you :)

Maelys has stayed with us twice, both in summer and winter, and she is fantastic to have as a workawayer. She is very good at her work. Sometimes we worked long days, as agreed with her, and then we took a few days off and went on trips together. We cooked meals together and had great conversations. She has a wonderful sense of humor.

I can’t recommend this Workaway enough, I felt very lucky to be there every moment of it.

as our first workaway experience, we both were delighted by our stay at Sherri and Bill's ranch. The people there are all welcoming and kind, and make you feel like you are at home. Super! The French dynamic duo blew in like a tornado of productivity. They went above and beyond the call of duty.
