Our next destination:
Valencia, Spain - from May 2025 until Aug 2025 View allDescription
Our journey has been one of connection and cultural exploration, and we’re always eager to learn from others. I’m originally from a small city outside of Miami, Florida, but my background is a blend of cultures: my mom is French with Italian roots, so I grew up experiencing a mix of American, European, and Latin influences. I was surrounded by Colombian, Chilean, Haitian cultures, and more, which sparked an interest in languages. While my Spanish is still a work in progress, we’ve been actively learning and improving together.
After living in the U.S., we moved to France for four years, living in both Paris and Normandy. During that time, I learned French, made lifelong friends, and immersed myself in French culture. Currently, we’ve been living in Spain for the past 8 months. We’re both certified to teach English and are excited to start our teaching careers, hoping to bring our diverse experiences to the classroom.
We decided to take a break from city life, and the idea of experiencing nature has been calling us. As vegetarians who enjoy the outdoors, we’re excited to explore new, peaceful landscapes. We also have a senior chihuahua who loves the idea of nature, though he spends most of his time sleeping! Our goal is to make lasting memories from this next chapter of our journey.Interests
