Description
I'm a husband and father of three—two sons (18 and 27) and an 19-year-old daughter—and a self-employed . Alongside my job, I have a deep passion for nature, animals, and everything connected to the natural world. I’m especially drawn to building with natural materials—whether it's wood, stone, or masonry—and enjoy meaningful, hands-on work in these areas.
My heart lies in understanding and improving communication between humans, horses, and dogs. I've spent decades studying natural horsemanship and animal behavior, always aiming to build trust-based relationships with animals. Some friends call me the "horse and dog whisperer"—a nickname I’ve come to appreciate, as it reflects my ability to connect with animals and solve challenges that others might find difficult.
Beyond my work with animals, I enjoy being creative and resourceful. I like cooking sometimes (especially experimenting with new recipes) and taking on DIY projects, from building to fixing things around the house or farm.
I feel most energized when involved in animal care, construction, or other practical and creative tasks.
That said, gardening is not something I particularly enjoy, so I prefer to contribute in other areas where I can offer more enthusiasm and skill.
While I don’t yet have my own dream farm, I find real joy in helping others care for theirs. Whether it's working with animals, assisting with farm tasks, or lending a hand on various projects, I’m happy to contribute in meaningful and practical ways.
I fully respect vegetarian and vegan lifestyles and enjoy sharing meals with people from all backgrounds. However, since I do eat meat and enjoy preparing traditional meals that include it, I might not be the best fit for an exclusively vegetarian environment.
As a Workawayer, I value clear communication and mutual respect. I follow the standard Workaway framework or any other agreed schedule of course. If additional help is needed beyond that, I’m open to discuss.
This is not a job search for me—it's a cultural and human experience. I’m here to connect, learn, and share, not to be seen as cheap labor. I believe in fair, balanced exchanges where both sides benefit and grow.
Looking forward to connecting and sharing experiences !
