Currently I am staying with my boyfriend in Xoxocotlan, but I plan to take a few solo adventures to different places in Oaxaca.

Description

I have returned to Oaxaca for a fourth time, and I plan to be here until at least March 2026. I would love to get to know this land on a deeper level. Some of my goals for this time include finding a farm where i can learn more about Oaxacan methods of cultivation (especially interested in amaranth), improving my conversational spanish, and getting involved in a community that values environmental stewardship, genuine connection, and enjoying life.

I've been farming for 9 years, mostly in small urban farms. Every season I’ve learned so many new things. As a farmer, I’m adaptable, attentive, & hardworking, but I also love to stop to watch bugs and such. I have an intuitive knowledge of nature and plants, and look forward to learning more about tropical ecosystems.
In general, I’m courteous, curious and innovative. It’s important to me to bring a good spirit to whatever I do.

I’m an avid hammocker, intense dog-lover, very eager to learn Spanish, and care a lot about understanding better and improving the world we live in however I can. I can be quiet at first but I open up :) I love beer and mezcal, trying new foods, and exploring.
