Hello!

My name is Kianna and I am from California, U.S.A. I come from a mixed background, Japanese and Portuguese-American, and thus have always loved being surrounded by different cultures. I enjoy learning and meeting new people from around the world.

I recently graduated from university with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am currently teaching English at a primary school in Malaga, Spain while simultaneously teaching private English lessons to children and young adults. Back in California, I worked a lot with children through teaching and mentoring.

I am a hard worker who is efficient and dependable. Through Workaway I hope to find a host who I can learn from and build a relationship with :) During my time studying abroad in Santiago, Chile I completed two WorkAways and loved both of my experiences.
I am very open to almost any type of Workaway experience but I think my strengths lie in working with people/customer service or working with children.

Some of my favorite things are cooking, eating, going to the beach, spending time with people I love, traveling, and cozying up in bed & watching a good Netflix show.

- Customer Service: I have about 3 years of customer service experience from working in restaurants and also at the front desk of a library! I have also volunteered at two hostels.
-Working with children: In high school, I taught swim lessons for children ages 2-15 years old. I have also tutored children for the past 2 years and I am currently serving as a mentor teaching children ages 7-12 about basic computer programming.
- Experience working in a hostel: I have worked at two hostels in the past. During those experiences I helped with social media, painting walls, bartending, and cleaning/housekeeping.
