I’m interested in rural volunteering opportunities, especially farming. I also enjoy adventures in nature to disconnect and experience wild places (I am traveling w/ a full thru-hiking gear setup).

I’m traveling through Latin America searching for people living close to the land that I can learn from. I’m eager to gain hands-on experience in sustainable farming, permaculture, eco-construction, and living in balance with nature. I’m interested in promoting biodiversity in the environment, learning sustainable growing and construction methods, and contributing to the projects of others while developing skills I can carry into my future life.

I thrive in calm, grounded environments and enjoy working alongside others who value simple, intentional living. I’m happy to help wherever needed, learn from experience, and contribute to a shared vision of a more self-sufficient, slower, and connected way of life.

My professional background is in engineering, but I’m looking to get my hands dirty and learn more practical, land-based skills. I grew up in the countryside with family roots in farming, so the rhythm of outdoor work feels familiar even if much of it is new to me.

I’m comfortable with physical labor, problem-solving, and working independently or as part of a team. I enjoy learning through doing — whether it’s gardening, building, cooking, or general maintenance — and I take pride in doing things carefully and well.
