*** Looking for a workaway experience in Europe from Mid-May - October 2025***

(preferably in Germany, Austria or Ireland, but open to any other country, where we have the rights to work or can get a Working Holiday Visa)

Hi, we are Johanna (31) from Germany and Kevin (27) from Australia.

We are currently finishing off our wonderful working holiday visa in Canada and are looking to make our next steps into Europe. We hold a diverse range of skills and are always open for new opportunities, where we can learn, grow and support each other.

Kevin and me love to fill our free time with fun activities and spend a lot of time in nature by exploring new places, going on a hike or run or just watch the sunrise or sunset.
If we are not outdoors we love to spend our time with:
-playing boardgames or visiting boardgame cafes (Scrabble, Quwirkle, Uno, Azul, Boggle are played on a daily/weekly basis :)
- doing international cooking nights to try out new recipes from all over the world
- since a few months we are also taking Swing dance lessons, what we really love
- practising yoga and meditation / self- reflection
- doing work outs
- reading books
- doing creative writing / drawing nights
and a lot more :)

We are very curious in getting to know new cultures, new ways of living and we are always interested in meeting new people and having good conversations and a good time together. :)

Johanna: I am a hotel professional with over 11 years’ experience working in the front and back of house of several hotels, resorts, restaurants/ cafes located in Germany, Australia, New Zealand and now in Canada. In previous helpx/ workaway experiences I helped for example with gardening, cleaning and reorganising, some Instagram and Website work, bookkeeping and daily tasks around the house.

Kevin: I am an avid outdoors lover having worked in related fields including forest firefighting, working as a park ranger and a recreation officer for around 7 years and holding a bachelors degree in environmental science, most of all I love sharing this passion with others. I have experience in project management and procurement as well as use with a variety of tools and machinary including construction work, carpentary and landscaping. I also love to cook and Always welcome new and exciting challenges.
