Hi! This is Miyu Kato who is studying abroad for one year in Monash University from July, 2025 to June, 2026. I am studying health science and have a great interest in Global health and social welfare system around the world. I would love to do farmstay in Melbourne because I want to know how farm is organized here and lifestyle of people having a farm in Melbourne. I'm good at playing with children so I can take care of them if you want me to do so. I'm looking forward to getting involved in farm works. In addition, I would like to feel the great nature in Australia.

・Good at taking care of children- I have done some internship at the facility for people with intellectual disabilities and children. I did a part time job to support people with intellectual disabilities in Japan.
・English Fluency- I'm studying in Monash University and I have iELTs 6.5 score which means a competent user of English, capable of handling complex language in familiar situations.
・Energy!- I'm 21 years old now, and I like to exercise so I can help your farm.
・Japanese teaching skill- I raised up in Japan and go to university of Tokyo so I'm a native Japanese speaker. I can teach you some Japanese if you want :)
・Cooking Skills- I can cook some Japanese dishes because I live by myself since I was 18 years old.

What else ...

I love musical so for free time, I mostly listen to musical songs and sing the songs :) Also, I love some Japanese music and culture so I can share my knowledge and preferences with you! I'm kind of a music person, because I played the clarinet when I was 12-15 years old and I joined a choral club when I was in Primary school. I can share my favorite songs and musics!! My hobbies are walking around nature and relaxing among it. I hope I can enjoy the nature during this farmstay!
