  • Description

Hi! I'm a 22-year-old open-minded and passionate person who loves connecting with others and experiencing the world in new ways. I spend most of my free time taking photos, writing, and painting — anything creative that helps me express myself and connect with the beauty around me. I also love baking and trying out new recipes, especially when I get to share them with my family or new friends.

I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. Although I love being part of a group, I’m also very independent and comfortable taking initiative. Whether it's helping around the house, joining in with a creative project, or simply lending a hand wherever it's needed, I'm happy to be involved.

I come from a big, close-knit family — there are six of us, and I have three amazing sisters. We've been doing Workaway together as a family since 2017, and it's been a big part of my life. Now that I’m older, I’m also exploring opportunities on my own and continuing the adventure in my own way.

More details about my language interests
Teaching English has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey so far. I worked as an assistant English teacher in Spain for two years with NALCAP and the Erasmus+ Green School Project, where I had the chance to support students in building their confidence and fluency in a second language. Alongside my family, I’ve also taught English in Thailand and Morocco, which gave me valuable experience adapting to different cultural and classroom environments. My academic background is focused on literacy and teaching children how to read, which has given me a strong foundation in language development and effective teaching methods. I love creating supportive, engaging learning spaces where students feel encouraged to grow — not just as English speakers, but as curious, capable learners.

  • More details about your skills

I’ve just graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education, and much of my experience comes from working as an educator and tutor for over six years. During that time, I’ve developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt to different environments and needs. I truly enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Outside of education, I also have hands-on experience with cleaning, gardening, and general household help. I’ve spent time volunteering in close-knit communities, which has taught me how to contribute meaningfully, respect different lifestyles, and be flexible with whatever tasks are needed.

I speak both English and Spanish.

Whether it’s helping out with daily chores, assisting in a learning environment, or simply being a friendly and reliable presence, I’m happy to pitch in wherever I’m needed.

  • What else ...

One fun fact about me is that I work at a science museum — and have for the past two years! It’s been such a cool experience getting to teach hands-on STEM lessons and inspire kids to get curious about the world around them. I even get to handle some of the museum’s critters (ask me about them — I have stories!). Whether it’s through teaching, art, or everyday conversation, I love sparking curiosity and making learning fun. I also enjoy playing board games (parcheesi, banana grams), spending time in nature, and exploring new cities on foot.
