Description
Hi there, we are Jabin and Gabriel - a couple from London travelling in Southeast Asia for 6 months. We are both 26/27 and met at university. We love travelling and have decided to take a career break as we are really excited to explore lots of beautiful countries and meet new people together! Some of our hobbies include: hiking, nature, animals, arts and crafts, cooking/trying new foods. Jabin is a big reader while Gabriel also enjoys climbing and surfing.
We are both hard workers who care about supporting local initiatives and having a positive impact on both the environment and communities we meet whilst travelling.

Jabin: I studied English Literature at university and work in publishing as a fiction book editor. I have experience working with adults and young people on English literacy programmes, in hospitality (barista, working market stalls), and with young people and communities in the charity sector. I have a big family so love being around/am comfortable looking after children, and I also have some basic social media knowledge.
Gabriel: I studied Biology at university and work as a cancer research scientist. I have a lot of experience volunteering with children and young people as a youth leader, and working in outdoor education (hiking, camping, climbing). I am first-aid trained and have a passion for animals of all kinds.
We both speak fluent English and are happy to get stuck into anything, whether that's childcare, petsitting, cleaning, DIY, language learning or helping with your business. We are creative and have an interest in arts and crafts/painting/design, as well as sustainability.
